If you end up with very little bulk (as almost all early Pokes have) you're going to be in trouble, especially with Doubles battles not letting you switch when the opponent switches. I wanted more bulk heading into the fifth gym but ended up catching an Ekans and a Buneary on the route leading there  edit: not even Intimidate Ekans | ||

Torkid the Magmar Koggers the Flygon Clyde the Umbreon PSWARGIM (Purple Starfish With A Red Gem In Middle) the Starmie (Yeah a friend named most of these...) RIP Koggers and Clyde =( The game reset so I can't continue, not that I'd want to with more than half my team dead. Other notable deaths late in the game were Batwoman the Crobat to a Counter, and GreenBeret the Breloom to a Self Destruct. Their deaths (don't click if you don't want Elite 4 spoiled): + Show Spoiler + Fuck. Misdreavus. Perish Song -> Mean Look -> Full Restore took out Flygon. Perish Song -> Destiny Bond(!) took out Umbreon. Also, screw the Walrein with Leftovers, Full Restore x2, Protect, and Substitute spamming Sheer Cold. It never hit but that's such bullshit. Thankfully Starmie had Surf / Icebeam / Thunderbolt / Psychic, and I gave him enough Rare Candies to outspeed everything. I definitely would not have survived if he couldn't 1HKO Lance's entire team with Icebeam/Surf. | ||

I fucking hate my life. I was doing my nuzlocke run, everything went ok. Pidgey + some fag bug i found died but i ended up with my water starter + fire monkey + OP normal dude + Clefairy. This normal dude had uproar and fucking destroyed people. The clefairy + normal dude was from the graveyard place along with the fire monkey from the dude who gave me it. 5% encounter chance clefairy on a fucking nuzlocke run. Then i ACED the fricken 1st gym, No deaths, absolutely awesome fight. So i was loading up just now to carry on playing, i hit savestate instead of loadstate and overwrote my savefile. NOOOOOOOOOOOO. At least i can delete the old savefile to restart with a proper save now | ||

Oh advance wars, tactics ogre, why does thou hate me so. I'd be almost sour but my PS3 decided on 4 different occasions to break and get my 15-20 hour FF13 runs wiped all @ Pulse. Yeah...fuck my playstation. Ok to be fair the 1st one was my brother in laws PS3 and the save is still there, the 3rd time i literally smashed my PS3 but still Twice man! Pity i dont learn. Either way new nuzlocke run. THIS TIME NAME ALL POKEMANZ LASHIKA. + Show Spoiler + Thats my wifes name. Huehuehue I actually love the discussion that happens in this thread. If you like the old school games though, check out PokeMMO. You get to play online and only have access to the originals for most of the game, and it has a vastly improved UI (for example, the game keeps track of EVs for you). I would Nutzlocke that but I think I'd go insane grinding without a speed up option. | ||
