10. Heavy Rain 9. Final Fantasy VII 8. Metal Gear Solid 4 7. Portal 6. Red Dead Redemption 5. God of War 4. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 3. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 2. Halo: Reach 1. Call of Duty: Black Ops Ugh, can't believe that CoD is here not once, but two times... franchise seems like its just a bunch of flashy patriotic scenarios that come out once a year. IMO, Halo Reach was definitely the best ending. Of course, I'm a massive lore geek, so maybe it's the most awesome when you take it in context of the entire Halo universe, and what happened afterwards. Hmm... FFX/FFX-2 had a good ending too. I liked a lot of Kingdom Hearts stuff too. Feel like Mario needs to be included here somewhere too. | ||

Very satisfying ending, tbh I don't think you'll get it if you haven't heard of the game, but it's hard. Too hard. But I did it, took me a few months, lots of tears and massive frustration. + Show Spoiler + + Show Spoiler + | ||

Any of Crysis 2's cutscenes should have made it on there. Here's one with the spear, but the first scene displaying the nanosuit's capabilities or the final cutscene both blow cod's out of the water. Majora's Mask's final cutscene with credits should have earned a spot as well. Throughout the entire game, there's a theme of hope that exists within the storyline that contrasts the dark feel the game has to it. yet in the end after all is set right, the final scene closes the game with the deku butler crying next to the warped tree that you first see at the beginning of the game. I guess it's often overlooked, because there's an obscure reference to the deku butler's lost son during a side quest and the connection has to be made that the transformation masks incorperated the soul of a deceased, but it ends the game on a bitter note. Very effective in my opinion, it's not as cut and dry as some other endings you see now. | ||
