 And I guess that's how Sven got owned (his ulti finished before he was ever able to move) and full Bane > terribly hurt Sven (especially if Bane has linken's sphere and Sven can't stun him, if we'll add hex from guinsoo and/or dagon to that...) | ||

If you want good builds go to www.dota-allstars.com and read some guides(avoid the ones with lots of criticism from other posters, ofc) or download some higher level games. | ||

lich isnt weak, its good throughout, i think the point the other person was making is that some pub nubs might think hes too good to the point of imbalance. sniper might be of the more noob friendly heros but his low health makes him a pretty sweet early gank target. | ||

Didn't know you could brainsap yourself anyway most people forget that you can brainsap creeps and die stupidily.Sniper is so boring with his 500dmg ulti that has 10 sec cooldown :/ Just walk around and find wounded enemies. As to the lich... He can be strong in some combos or when you're playing against noobs but in other cases he's mostly useful only for chill/slowdown effects. | ||

Perhaps I just miss the old times :/ 5 int (one being chen) + 5 mekansms is what allowed the current cal-dota champions to win their side before level 14. so no mekansms are not bad at all, but they are more team oriented, not as useful in pubs. s&y is only truely useful on a select few heroes... for others the money is better spent on mkb or buriza, like you mentioned, or a lvl 4 str/agi/int item. off the top of my head, i like s&y with sb for the extra move speed damage, jugg and bs for ias, sa for health and ns for being the best chaser in the game at night. heroes to never get s&y with: naga - get a diffusal instead as the mana break works for images, but maim does not. lancer - again, images do not benefit. am - use bashers instead because s&y won't work with mana burn. bm - her poison orb is better than the maim. pa - she needs mkb and satanic. and obviously never get s&y on an int hero. | ||

Brainsap costs 200 mana. I'd rather wait reallly far behind the creep line coming fourth only for short moments to feel that exp and regen. Not to mention the odds of you having <150HP and 200> mana isn't really good. You must be kidding or not know what you are talking about regarding the lich. It is very easy to go through the whole game without dying while still contributing using him. Aggressive liches are even more scary though. He's just got stats that are WAY too high for an intel hero. Compare to Rylai, notice how his stats completely > her. And yeah, chain frost makes it impossible to 1v2 him. Although summoners like prophet and necro'lic are better protected against him, its overall a very bad idea to take on lich as a group. Send naix/omni/jugger/luna to solo him instead. As for the sniper, he's food. Food for any hero with a disable. Hell he's food even to some heroes without disables.
