Granite flasks were just nerfed heavily; you mean diamond flasks. Officially they're being remade along with phase run because they weren't being used as intended (aka they were so overpowered that they were required essentially).
It does make the build useless, but you could tweak a few things and make them useful again. Most notable would be getting rid of anything involving crit multiplier since you don't have free 100% critchance anymore.

This is why I believe RT is even more godly than before atm. It is basically free (just refund any accuracy nodes) if you travel to the Mara area for other nodes since there is so little crit chance outside the int area.
Would like some advice for build if possible. Currently have HC Summoner Witch and what I'm wondering is if its end-game viable to just go pure summoner (Skelly totem with zombies resummoned as needed and Spectre support) with Curse Support or if I should branch out left to get double totem. The second totem would then be something like Ethereal Knives linked to fork/etc. that I use for added AoE. I don't really have the points to invest in an Elemental spell to put on my totem since I still need to pick up the rest of the Minion nodes as well as some of the Aura/Energy Shield/buff ones so I'm wondering if EK is decent enough on its own with just support gems and not any spell damage passives.
Any Recommendations for Auras would also be appreciated- currently looking at probably Purity, Discipline and/or Wrath.
I really love how this games community seems to center around HC moreso then SC, i had a blast during closed beta playing it, now im on too unstable a connection to play.

I won't touch the game until there are more builds out. I don't waste my time creating a char when I have no idea what spells to use or which build to use.

Part of the fun is to figure that kind of stuff out on your own
Also by the time you finish all the acts/difficulties, you get quite a few passive skill refunds from quests + you will have picked up a few regret orbs as well (you can also trade or buy from vendor if you need more). Skilling down a wrong path doesn't mean the end of your character when you can just retrain later. Also, a lot of builds are gear/gem dependent and not all are easily acquired unless you get somewhat lucky. You would have to trade or craft them with orbs, so worst case scenario, your 'fail' character is just farming stuff for your main character.

Note that is says 30% less and not 30%. The initial projectile does 70% of the damage it would do, but it also creates two more projectiles that also do 70% damage.

What were they thinking when they made chaos resistance affected by difficulty. The unique dude in the mud flats waltzed up beside me and instagibbed me ^_^ Can't decide if I want to try to scrape together some chaos resistance or just avoid everything that deals it like the plague. Getting enough chaos resistance to actually survive sounds impossible.
I just jumped into this game without knowing anything about the passive trees, ended up with a colddmg shadow and have honestly no clue where I should go with my passive tree now. I also have no clue which spell to use, just used freezing pulse with lesser multiple projectiles and cold penetration, but it does no dmg on range :/ Should I try Arctic Breath or Ice Spear? Any suggestions on how to proceed?
Well you could start with looking over this build. It would need some changes as some things have been nerfed since OB was released but the general idea is there.

Life Gain On Hit for Chaos Orb Lightning Arrow for Jeweller's Added Lightning Damage for 4 Jeweller's Raise Sceptre 17% for Chaos Orb
Raise Sceptre just increases movement speed, so don't think I ripped myself off although there could be some min/max Summoner out there that must have the best of everything
Ok guys. I accidentally destroyed my freezing pulse gem, *sigh*.
What aoe skill shall I try to get? My whirling blades doesn't seem to do much damage. Shall I get freezing pulse back or what? Or is there any aoe melee skill for dual weild? Cause cleave and sweep don't work with dual.
Also, mana drinker is not sustaining me much, is it cause I'm low level thus low dmg=low mp return? Or shall I refund it?
Next question, I intend to play with frenzy, are the frenzie nodes worth it?
