Am using heavy sttrike and Ground Slam. Where should I skill next? I hear this build is pretty bad and I should be ashamed of myself, but I hope stuns do help in PvP ![]() EDIT: How do I stun people? Is there a skill gem or something ? Haven't found anything about it.

Thanks! Double strike would be quicker with attack speed, flicker strike is affected by attack speed but it's more complicated. Stuff like double/dual/heavy strike are all attacks, and therefore depend on attack speed and not cast speed. Flicker strike is in this category but has it's own cooldown to prevent abuse. You can get around this cooldown by expending a frenzy charge, a la blood rage.

Same with Cleave as well i assume, but i mean look at the top 10 of both SC and HC, there's a lot Marauders in there. The 1st guy in Default was a marauder. So i think there are some annoyances with melee, but things aren't as bad as most people think, melee is still fun, specially dagger shadows, and sweep marauders. IMO anyways, food for thought! Sweep is one of the worst skills late game for various reasons. It forces you to take unwavering stance which basically turns you into a pincushion against arrow mobs late game.

Just got into A3, and the only items I have are the ones I got 15 levels ago. Also, am I the only one getting large black squares for textures? After the first act ( level 20 or so) you'll want to start building your own items rather than just waiting for lucky finds (although you can indeed get some lucky finds) Grab a base item with slots that you like, upgrade it to QL20 and then start using orbs to design it. You probably dont need to waste too many materials on items until you get to lategame though, you'll just want things which are good, sometimes you'll get lucky and build yourself something killer

Trade chat is your friend, save crafting for end game where upgrades are expensive as hell. Edit: I for one usually check the trade chat regularly for items. Look for good damage rolls on weapons (never underestimate a good weapon regardless of damage type (ele or physical) and regardless of your build till you get to higher levels), combination of main defense (health or ES depending on build/taste), secondary defense and resists. Don't forget to adjust for linked sockets, remember that Chromatic Orbs (rerolls the colors on sockets) are easy to get (just vendor a RGB linked item). Rings/amulets/belts can be tricky and expensive, these are the pieces that are the hardest to upgrade since they can have all types of stats so getting one that fits with your build with no redundancy is hard.

You can Trade for stuff that you need using Orbs as currency. This site has a general conversion for most the currencies http://hardcore.poeex.info/ (has a default league version as well). Most decent items go for around 1-2 Alchemical Orbs but you can get better deals if someone is clearing their inventory or if they simply don't know how much it should cost (pretty common while a lot of players are new). Really good rares/uniques can run you in the chaos orb-Gemcutter prism range but thats usually moreso levels 40+. EDIT: ^ Ninja-d ;D.

I don't know why you heard that that build was bad. It's maybe a little bit odd to start at the templar for that sort of build, but not really an issue I'd say. Someone made a post talking about a really strong build that has the same main components in it as yours, except it was a marauder. It went on down the bottom and even to the bottom right corner (by like level 70 or something) to get "cannot be stunned", and Iron reflexes.
