I saw a unique Wand drop and remember thinking "oh, some trash leveling wand". Checked it 15 minutes later and was very pleasently surprised :D. I sadly was allready on my way to act 10 Kitava and my build was allready set in stone. I'm mainly waiting for Cospris to drop in Prices. That may take a while, they're pretty rare and very sought after this league.

Allready much cheaper than poets .
And yes, most likely i will invest further in my miner instead of building another freeze/discharger glasscannon that is tons of fun but can't do any guardian

In some happy news, GGG confirmed the 2 socket/3 socket and 1 off-color recipes missing is a bug and they'll be retroactively added to people who completed their first delve and got the 2 off-color recipe some point soon. Chromes are still (mosty) dead, hooray!

Does anyone know what the cooldown on the craftable "trigger a socketed spell when using a skill" for 1handers is?
Please don't tell me it's the same as Cospri's ...
|
I've seen people say it's 5s but haven't confirmed myself yet. Cospri's has the same trigger as Mjölner now, afaik they just didn't mention it in the initial patchnotes.
e: Whoever asked about a Glad build, I'd recommend Jugg, Slayer or (bit trickier to level) a Scion/Slayer for melee type builds when it comes to survivability.

Has anyone else had the issue of not being able to talk to the syndicate member after you've killed them?
Jun has an orange fiery exclamation point over her head, the syndicate member got rekt, can't talk to either of them - and I'm playing alone. What gives?
|
If you leave the zone and then return you lose the ability to bargain/talk with them, I think, which I've taken advantage of a few times when both options weren't ideal. That's the only thing I can think of that looked something like that (besides the member just getting away, which can happen).

It'll probably come down eventually, but I wouldn't count on it for a few weeks.

I switched into Devouring Diadem EB+MoM, and it's just as bananas as we thought. It's basically "don't worry about sustain anymore, the item."

I am a bit pissed as I counted on using this instead of Soul Mantle. I am thinking of switching my Hiero to brands now..

What about using Multiple Totems Support? I picked it up recently and it gives you +2 Totems.
Your link also says they are going to put it back in:
"Okay, we've had a talk about this, and we're going to re-enable the mod. It'll be rare, and expensive to craft, as its power deserves. We'll make sure it's patch noted when it is added in. Save up your iLevel 75+ shields with Veiled Prefixes until that happens!"

Isn't that strictly worse mathematically than a damage gem? The support gem having less damage AND taking a link makes it worthless.

It is worth it if you are going from 2 to 4 totems, should not be worth it to go from 4 to 6. Also Hiero has ability that gives 3% more damage per totem so at least for hiero penalty is lowered by 6% :D

If a specific map leads to two different +1 tier maps, you just need to try vendoring different combinations of them. I'll use Atoll (T1) as an example: it leads to both Arid Lakes and Iceberg as T2s. If you take 4-5 Atoll maps and just try vendoring different random combinations of them, some will result in Arid Lakes and some will result in Iceberg. Probably tied to a hidden item ID. So there should be no more "hard to reach" maps because they were inaccessible via vendor recipe.
Great Atlas news for SSF. On top of Zana missions giving credit for atlas completion as well. Super nice.
That's fantastic! I've actually had pretty decent luck with maps with all the new bits'n'bobs, but I think there's some mid-tier reds with branching paths where this could help.
Been running EB/MoM hybrid Occultist, but with all the chaos damage running around (Tora, It That Fled, Incursion spitters, etc), I'm thinking I might try to respec CI sooner rather than later. However, I'm in SSF and it's a little bit harder to piece together half-decent ES gear ... apart from tidy up my filter to just show the top ~3-4 bases for each slot and ID everything, these days I guess my best bet would try and get on top of my delving to farm Dense Fossils, or see if I can pic up Essences of Woe, ah, the Redblade guy in transportation strongholds? I've been going straight down towards Azurite nodes and only really spending it on expanding my Sulphite capacity since it's easy to get overcapped from Niko popping up in maps, so my darkness resist etc is garbage.

Jun has an orange fiery exclamation point over her head, the syndicate member got rekt, can't talk to either of them - and I'm playing alone. What gives? i did, inside a safehouse. i moved away from the zone to unload it(the distance at which what you left behind stopped shooting(totems, mines, minions etc) and when i came back, the cards were showing.
Edit: @Multiple Totems Support totem thing: i think people got it wrong here; many assumed you get an extra totem and just can summon 2 at a time. with just the base +1 totem, it gives you an additional 2 to make it 3 totems, not and additional one to make it 2 (shockwave=3, ancestral=3, searing bond+multiple totems= 4 totems, etc). totem skill+multiple totems = 3 totems, spell totem+spell+multiple totems = 3 totems. for the later you get an overall 159%more mod at lvl 20 but for the former, its 237%more(right?...)

Not really no. At 2 base Totems, you double your damage and reduce it by 1/3: 2/3 more damage. At 3 base Totems you deal about 2/3 more damage and reduce it by 1/3: 1/3 more damage. At 4 base Totems it evens out. Unless I made a critical mistake which surely isn't beyond me. This is just the math though. It could be different in reality because of monster density and how many projectiles really hit the monsters.

Although adding multiple totems support to 4 base totems makes damage about equal, for mapping 2 totems you summon are now weaker and vs bosses you need to have all 6 alive and shooting at same target to cover for lost damage.
It is not worth it. Only real advantage would be 2% more life regen and 1% more mana regen you get from extra two totems.
|
It all depends on how much damage your last support would give you (which will usually range from like 30% to 40%). With Hierophant 4 totems is where you probably don't want to use it (damage wise), but even here it can be worth if the last support isn't great.

Does multiple totems work with Wither or Decoy and detonate mines? That could actually be pretty usefull.

And yes, it's super good here. I don't see why the other ones wouldn't work. Maybe Decoy doesn't cause of the cooldown, I haven't tried that one yet. Detonate mines totem is detonating fast enough anyway.
