Hierofant is so bonkers... No clue how they tought this ascendancy will be "fine". 2 points? Sure have endless power and endurance charges and on top lower enemy resists... Wtf. But i would need to vaal RF myself i guess? That still leaves room for another totem  . | ||

Might try that VBA build that was floating around in the last few pages. Also with the sextant changes last league and now the elder ring nerf this league is there any reason to do janky shit with your atlas anymore or do I just faceroll everything hmm | ||

Into red maps with arc totems with brightbeak and barely any damage on gear, and it's still a cakewalk. Bosses take several seconds now, but then you pop Vaal Arc, RF, Cold Snap on top and it's fine again. | ||

In comparison, the following all affect the burning arrow ignite: added flat phys, added flat fire, %increased physical, %increased fire, %increase wed. Getting items with 1-2 well rolled affixes (in this case %increased fire and wed) is significantly easier - a 36 wed ring with 70 life and 80 res is obtainable for most mortals, in comparison a 36 wed ring, with 70 life, 80 res, and 15 flat phys will set you back several ex. The way that EA scales is significantly more shallow (100% damage effectiveness) than BA (184% damage effectiveness), yet a level 20 gem of it has the base damage of 586-879, meaning that it will work well enough even though it can't get all that much better. To get 586-879 flat damage would mean you'd need enough flat damage on your bow to reach: 318.5 - 477.7. That amount of flat damage is no joke, nearly 400 flat damage on average, so in order to bump up your non mirror tier weapon you need to get a shitload of flat phys/fire on your amulets/rings/gloves/quiver, while maintaining the same amount of wed that you'd have on other pieces of gear. The end result is a stupidly expensive set of gear which is simply not attainable on day one, to get to where EA is naturally. This is my current POB, keep in mind that my flasks still haven't been fixed, and that I'm running gmp instead of burning damage for end game bossing atm, on a quill rain instead of a +3 fire bow. https://pastebin.com/L0GeCemq | ||

Is 8000 life enough without another layer of defense? With blink arrow having a cooldown I guess you rely on quicksilver? Why eye of innocence? | ||

Eye of innocence gives me 2% life leech while ignited, combined with mokous embrace and I'm always ignited. For the hardest boss fights I think I'd have to go rear guard with a red nightmare and rumis. 8000 life with block cap, 1k life regen, and life leeching my entire hp pool every time I attack is plenty of defence. For what it's worth, a t13 elder on a 5 link (using gmp, effectively a 4 link) was easy enough, His hardest hit took me to about 3k hp, which regened 2 seconds later. The most dangerous part of the fight for ea is the tentacles at the very end after protecting the shaper, which is where block would shine. I just read your question regarding a +3 bow, you get that by using shrieking essences of rage on a ilvl 50 bow, hoping it has a free prefix and suffix (annul is an option here), crafting "cannot roll attack mods", and then exalting. Then craft attack speed/leo damage over time. Regarding accuracy, that's a matter of me improving my ring/glove and replacing the quiver I have with an accuracy base. When I do that I'll be around 85-90%. Keep in mind, when you attack 5 times a second, sometimes attacking a 6th time is not a huge drama. Unfortunately I leave my computer for a month and a bit in a week or so, but if I get the opportunity I'm hoping to record an uber elder kill and put together something on the forums for the build. I believe it's incredibly strong defensively, really good for general mapping, and potentially a good uber elder farmer. I don't think there is a single piece of content it can't do reliably, at this stage. | ||

Currency Cop is also a cool little program to track your net worth and profits over time and such. It's not an overlay, it's external to the game and works off your character profile, but I liked it a lot. Sometimes it's nice to know how much those "messier" tabs are really worth like div cards, essences, maps, etc. It helped me find a few cases where I had valuable cards lying around that I forgot to price check in a hurry and lost track of (especially since I keep my div tab on "full stacks only") | ||
