Is this game still strong? Was playin a few years back in Beta I think and was super overwhelmed by the skill tree. Now I'm kinda fed up with other games and was wondering if I should give this a go again? | ||

That is why players use cwdt+detonate mines. You place the mines and mobs help you kill them. | ||

Find a build guide and follow it for your first 1 to 5 characters. By then you will learn enough. | ||

The skill tree looks super overwhelming for a new player yes. I would advise looking for a starter build guide that you think sounds cool and just follow that so you don't have to figure it out yourself. | ||

Now that I had the time to check out the PoB link in more detail this does look pretty interesting. Do you already have this character on standard or incursion? Items looks like something bought/found, not made in PoB. One thing that confuses me is the leech amount, PoB acts like you got Vaal Pact or something but you don't. If we put in realistic leech rate which would be 1600 and lack of any other defensive mechanics this character might be dying more often than wanted even with that high max life. And that hit chance is not impressive, especially when you need to hit to leech. Also the leech depends on you being ignited which is not reliable. EDIT: Seems the leech rate is somehow connected with that amulet. When I turn off "Are you ignited?" it drops down to 800 which is what your ascendancy gives. What content did you try him against? | ||

As people already said, picking a guide is a very, very good idea unless you enjoy starting over a couple of times. This for example is a nice fresh list for a few builds that are likely to get you into maps safely and will let you enjoy the game there. The stuff you do before maps was made a lot smoother and fun but that's not what most people play the game for in the end. If you're into Hardcore I'd also recommend starting out in SC at first, just to understand the basics. Unless you really enjoy starting over frequently. Either way if you decide to give this another shot please mention one of your character names somewhere in here and we'll get you into the TL guild, questions are always welcome there. | ||

Also what's a good lab farmer nowadays? Anything with Juggernaut ascendancy is still a super easy lab farmer. Tons of endurance charges for regen and phys reduction. It got buffed quite a bit in 3.2. Vaal gems give you access to both the normal and vaal skill now. The main advantage being both the normal and vaal versions will have all the support links. Quite a few of them are popular right now, especially Arc. | ||

This is a trickster version of the EA build bo1b is doing if anyone prefers a more defensive version with just a bit less dps. Tnx to bo1b for making the best ignite build for end game bossing. I will probably switch to this once I can afford a 6l +3 bow or a 6l corrupted + to skills cloak of defiance. Bo1b, how would you go around getting 6l +3 bow for EA? Just buy it like that, or buy some white 6L and somehow craft it myself? How would one do that? | ||

Nvm found it: with the T3 corruption room (which rolls for TWO corruption results), it SHOULD be possible to get a lvl 21 vaal arc. | ||
