0.4% mana leech is usually more than enough leech for any attack build. takes more points than mana flows though. It's just when you have a high dps attack build, leech is usually quite nice. maybe you can get 0.2% fire damage corrupted somewhere, or boot enchant. not important if you feel tanky enough tho
are you certain totem activates EO? it's not you dealing the crit, I don't think it works. blind is such a non help IMO, stibnite does that already. I personally would use decoy totem (VERY useful) or ancestral protector
either way giving up 2 point jewels usually doesn't make much sense. unless you are strapped for cash they will often be better than other passive nodes
also wise oak = big dps and survivability boost
Frack, I forgot totems might now work for EO.
Yes I cannot afford good jewels , the cost 35 c and such. What is wise oak? I put that name in seach in PoB and got no hits.
EDIT: ok wise oak is a unique flask. Seems interesting. EDIT2: mokou's embrace is useless for my character when he is immune to being ignited.
It's not useless, ignore the ignited parts and just re-read the stats. it gives you fire dmg and cold res. Way better than the useless stats ngmahu's sign has

I bought mokou's first and used it, then I figured out I will be ignite immune and panicked and removed it. But now when I compare in PoB, Mokou's ring does give more overall dps and with cold resistance makes maxing resistances easier.
One of the things I enjoy about path of exile is how much optimization can be done for early levelling. Bow characters traditionally suck on the way up, so I looked into some alternatives/things that can be done to expedite the process.
1) Spectral throw is super good early game, with very little gear required. The phys% recipe on two appropriate claws gets you healing your self and doing nice damage on the way up.
2) More importantly, for levelling up to about 24 or so when you can comfortably switch to st for a bit, the combination of rain of arrows/lightning arrow/shrapnel shot and siege ballista wrecks both large packs of mobs and rares/bosses. Siege ballista/faster attacks/lmp is a ton of damage very quickly.
Or do what everyone else does and use bladevortex lol.
I personally really liked leveling with Blast Rain last I leveled with a bow char. Rain of Arrows before that. Of course, if you are overgeared you can just use Lightning Arrow.
Shrapnel shots amazing early but I found it fell off quite quick, blast rain is definitely super good, but if I'm scaling up projectile damage at that point 2 decent weapons with lmp will clear a screen pretty quickly.
this guy has a bunch of mechanics videos on Breachlords and new beta bosses. pretty informative watch
I don't have beta access so take this with a grain of salt. But to me Arakaali's laser combo when she combines it with her laser barrage seems pretty crazy. This actually happened a couple of times in a video of ziggyd. Seems almost impossible to dodge everything in this case.
it's not as bad as it seems. the arena lasers are always avoidable, tho it takes practice. If you get hit with the close range lasers that's really bad, you may be stunlocked into RIP. if you think of close range lasers as arakali's "slam" and focus 100% on avoiding it, everything else can be dealt with
this does mean that party play makes this boss harder perhaps, and your golem may fck you up. I think I will un summon it
So I got my Oro's Sacrifice Chieftan to big enough level and bought enough gear to try out both Cleave and Vigilant Strike variations... VS sucks :D Well it can work if you like slower gameplay and buffing before ever group (as in summon your totem and orb of storms to maximise your burn damage), otherwise Cleave is way superior. And fighting vs bosses is especially irritating with VS when you don't have your 6 endurance charges ready to keep hitting it until it dies... yea, real VS build is going to wait for some other time and some more improvements to that skill by GGG
The upcoming beta wipe is just nicely in the morning for me to roll something new again, such a nice change of pace from the usual 3/4 am league start.
The new boss is a reskinned Spinesnap. I mean a million reskinned Spinesnaps. It was nice knowing all of you, I'm basically done with PoE. They brought out the ultimate weapon.
I'm really interested in the performance improvement thingy since I play on a shitty computer but I'm trying not to get too hyped. Sounds great in theory but I kinda want to see it in action. It would be cool to actually play in a party seeing how it's an mmo.
Funniest part of the video is how it cuts off right as he's being chased by like 10 of those fuckers... we all know he's dead )
I like the general direction of making the bosses a bit more challenging. Having more mechanics, having to dodge and time your attacks makes the fight more rewarding in the end.
