Don't forget, James Jones with that Three started that whole run. That was insanely clutch. His ONLY points in the game!

I don't know why they start bibby over jones or chalmers
either option is better

Congratulations you have now reached the level of 2009 Orlando, beating Boston, but not really since they are missing their most important player :D. was 2-0 before then, maybe he should've dislocated the other one so they could win another game in the series whatever helps you sleep at night, just remember that beating an injured team doesnt really mean much. If you honestly thought that Miami was going to 4-1 Boston without an injured Rondo you need to watch more basketball.
You mean whatever helps you sleep at night because you fail to acknowledge that the Heat were up 2-0 before the Rondo injury.
Miami is the better team. I've been saying it all year long. They would have beaten Boston if Rondo were healthy. Not a doubt in my mind. I think them going up 2-0 when Rondo was healthy, and beating them right at the end of the season proves that.

I'm not a huge "experience" guy but you can't start Jones. That's a horrible idea...he's an utterly one-dimensional player, with mediocre defense. Chalmers, I could sorta see an argument but he has a shot selection issue, which gets magnified when Lebron and Wade and Bosh are on the court.

They were up 2-0, so what? they won two home games, if Rondo wasnt injured in game 3 who knows how the next few games would have played out. Its asinine to think that Rondos injury didnt have a majour impact on this series, downright insulting tbh.

the heat have trailed like every first quarter and personally I think it's cause of bibby

Remember when I said that losing record in close games meant that Miami is really, really good instead of choking?
Loving it right now.

yea i think next season heat should draft/pick up a new PG, it feels like its one of there missing pieces. They got some good big guys/three point shooters that wade/james can kick out to but the PG position seems to be the weakest for them.

Can we praise the Heat more? Because I'm relatively certain that Dwyane Wade just put up one of the most masterful basketball games I've ever seen personally. Except for his horrible free throw shooting, imagine if he made 12 of 15 instead of 8...
Just relentless and showing everyone that a million and one injuries haven't totally "sapped" his athleticism. 34 points on 19 shots? No threes made and only 8-15 free throws. If this guy had anything close to three point shot, he'd be the closest thing to Jordan (if he isn't already.)
EDIT: Concerning Bibby...yes, his defense is TURRRible. But frankly, James Jones can't be played for more than 25 minutes a game, neither can Bibby, I get it, so who cares who starts then?

The Heat offense looks a million times better with Wade initiating. His non stop attack mode and elusive dribble just kept killing Boston. If only Mario Chalmers would play like that.

LeBron isn't clutch, huh?
Bring on Chi-town!

Sure it impacted the series, but overall it didn't impact the outcome because Miami is better. If Boston was the better team, they would have at least won a game in Miami before Rondo got hurt. But they didn't. Miami looked like the better team at the end of the season when Rondo was healthy and in the first two games when Rondo was healthy.
Boston never played the same after they traded Perkins. They ended the season on a bad note and beat the mighty Knicks who were missing a healthy Amare in the first round. Boston isn't the same team that won the championship in 2008. Hell they aren't the same team that went to it last year. Miami is better.

I've always thought that Wade has more Jordan in him than LeBron. Their games are very similar.

The only reason Celtics won that one game was because after rondo came back from the injury the heat players won't even touch him and let him just freely run around doing uncontested lay ups.
Heat basically let celtics have that game out of pity, how many times have Rondo catch the ball with one hand? dribble the ball with one hand, Never once did Miami players force Rondo to go left by positioning themselves to the right, hell they didn't even close up on him when he picks up the ball and looking for a pass, they did everything they can to allow Rondo to do his thing.
Celtics clearly didn't have what it takes this year to beat the heats.

Lebron doesn't have a comp, in my opinion. No one has ever had that combination of physical gifts PLUS his ball-handling, court vision and passing acumen. He's like a weird...athletic young Ron Artest with some Shane Battier...kinda...with a little Magic
But yeah, Wade is bomb. Just can't shoot threes for some reason.

Closest player imo is Magic Johnson. But he is so much stronger than Magic was. But they have a similar skill set.

...and, calling the Heat the 2009 version of Orlando isn't downright insulting, when the two teams having nothing in common except for beating Boston? Defense wins championships, and the Heat play better team D than every other team in the league. Orlando was just a great but limited interior with sporadic outside shooting, and weak everything else.
As far as injuries go with Rondo...yeah, sure, but I can also say that the Heat would be a totally different and better team with a healthy Haslem and Miller - and the result might have been the same even if Boston had a healthy Rondo and Perkins. Remember when Bill Simmons scoffed at the Heat's roster, then pissed his pants when the Heat signed Mike Miller? Yeah...speculation is meaningless, so...who cares?

Wade is the most explosive player I've ever seen. He just carves up defenses. Pretty cool to watch.
