Winner of game 5 goes on to win 83% of the time.

I knew it was under 20% and an odd number, part marks !!

I'm extremely disappointed in the Celtics. They really let down Boston and 99% of the country losing to this abomination of a team in their first year. Sadly, both of the other teams left in the east are EXTREMELY flawed and probably don't stand a chance against the Heat.
The only team that can challenge them is the Mavs, imo. If OKC makes it to the finals they should just give the heat the trophy in some back alley and save the rest of us the time.

The Heat are just as flawed as the Bulls and the Hawks.

What the fuck? Abomination of a team? The only team that can challenge them is the mavs? So this means the mavs are playing horrible basketball?
99% of the country got let down because the celtics lost to the heat <--- #1 sentence in thread
How the fuck are the heat as flawed as the bulls? Hawks lol
This thread man ><

This thread man >< I think "abomination of a team" is referring to it's players (obviously he has a disposition against them), not how well they're playing. I've been expecting the Heat to win since the 1st round, but Mavs are almost like a Cinderella story (I have less hopes for Grizz)

Also, even when Memphis lost games vs SA or earlier this series, they were good games. Game 4 vs OKC was arguably the best game played this postseason, certainly one of the most entertaining. Other than game 5, this series has been great to watch, as a fan who doesn't really have a rooting interest here.
Last night's game was over in the first half.

Just because you have the lead in a series and lose doesn't mean you're choking. Especially when the lead is only a 2-1 sample.

27 point loss is not anything notable?

It is. But I was referring to his point that they lost the series lead. a blowout is always notable

I really don't understand why everyone thinks the Grizzlies choked. Lets consider the facts.
1) Besides game 1, the Thunder have had double digit leads going in to the 4th quarter or at some point around then. It took a ridiculous comeback and A LOT of help from the Thunder for them to come back in game 3.
2) The Grizzlies just lost a triple overtime game. They are emotionally exhausted, and have to gather much more energy than the younger Thunder team to play in a hostile environment. Meanwhile, the Thunder have their home crowd, one of the best in the NBA, feeding them energy. NBA homecourt advantage is one of the biggest factors in deciding a game or series, we know this.
3) Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol, probably 2 of the most out of shape big men in the league, played close to 60 minutes in game 4 each. While Gasol was less effected, Randolph was far from himself. On the otherhand, With all but Nick Collison of the Thunder's key players being less than 25 years old, the Thunder's youth and energy alone should have been enough to carry them in Game 5, and it did. This was evidenced by the fact that the Thunder won the majority of the 50/50 balls, scored more points in the paint, and played... normally, without being to tired to blow easy baskets.
4) With a series tied 2-2, the home team wins the series about 2/3 of the time.
So in conclusion, you were insane if you thought the Grizzlies were actually going to win.

Randolph being gassed was incredibly obvious. He was missing lay ins that I could make.

For all their flaws the Bulls still match up really well vs the Heat. Bulls will dominate at the center position and Bibby/Chalmers will have a tough time keeping up with Rose. The Bulls bench is also better.

LeBron is the better passer and rebounder. When a player is scoring well it's more obvious that he's playing well, but LeBron brings just as much to the table--I think it's a wash between the two of them.
