Kidd was tugging Kobe's jersey (shorts) earlier on which is a foul if the refs see it, but they rarely see it and players do it all the time. Also, it's not clear that's what caused Kobe to lose his balance since he was already running without being noticeably affected thrown off balance. It's not liked we saw Kidd yank. The lakers lost because Kobe had two turnovers (one of which was off his drive and dish) and clanked a 3 in the final minutes, while the mavs made their free throws. They also lost because they couldn't keep their double digit lead.

I turned it off at that point then came back when there was about 5 minutes left and I am still wondering how they lost that lead. Good ball movement generating shots against a lazy defense. Chandler should not be getting 3+ ally-oops in a game and most of their 3 point shots were uncontested/in transition.

Kobe fell over. He knew it. The Gasol call was 50/50, but suck it up--calls like that happen all the time. Nobody complained when Brown was hacking Dirk and getting away with it. BEAT LA!

What's up with the Bulls? They looked crappy vs the Pacers and now the Hawks. Definitely not championship caliber.

I know...I had the chance to watch 2 games in the United Center and they looked insanely strong. Thought for sure they make it to the conference final with eeez. Maybe lack of experience?

Carlos Loozer better show up for the Bulls, cause he's been pretty useless. Deng had a good day offensively, but he's just too slow to guard Joe Johnson. If Bogans/Brewer can't keep Joe at bay, they might as well give Korver more minutes to fight fire with fire. If you can't stop em, try to outscore em I guess. But there probably won't be more days where Joe Johnson shoots 5/5 from the 3 point line or where Rose gets 0 FTs. Refs were pretty consistent, so you can't really blame em. Plus, I thought Rose settled a lot for 3s and long jumpers when he could have driven it. Sure, you can chalk it up to refs not giving the call all night on either side or the fact that he still might not have 100% confidence in that ankle, but he looked fine and it doesn't excuse him from chuckin 3s all night long. Thought Teague did a pretty good job on Rose, making him feel uncomfortable, and the help doubles also did a decent job keeping him out of the paint. Everyone keeps saying the Bulls have a good matchup on paper, but I don't really see it. Sure they have good matchup at PG, but they almost always do. I just think the Hawks match up well inside with Horford on Noah, and it seems like Horford always outplays Noah pretty much every time. The Bulls crush most teams because of their interior rebounding advantage, even when they go to the bench with Asik, but the Hawks have the size inside, can go to Collins/Pachulia while keeping Horford/Smith at PF to matchup with Boozer and Noah. They kept the Bulls at check on the boards, which was a key factor to winning. The keys to winning the game on each side will be if they can keep the opposition backcourt in check. The Hawks did a good job on Rose, whereas Joe and Jamal got every shot they wanted. Bogans too small, Deng too slow, Brewer not as efficient either. When Joe Johnson's on top of his game, he'll put up nights like these. He might not make almost every shot like he did tonight, but he'll find different ways to beat you. No one can stop Jamal Crawford. That guy chucks all day. You just gotta hope it doesn't go in. Also, if the Hawks benched Josh Smith, they woulda ran away with the game. That guy still plays like a complete moron. Lowest BBIQ in the game. Worst shot selection in the game.
