You can't talk shit all game long and get in guys faces multiple times and expect the refs to just let it go. After he got his first tech, he needed to play smart, but he didn't. He got himself ejected. Miami looked dominant in this game. Then they seemed to get bored when they would get far ahead, then they would look dominant again. lol man, this is playoff basketball. of course emotions are gonna erupt. most refs let it go because they understand the pressure, and the fact most players aren't stupid enough to escalate it beyond the confrontation. i wouldnt be surprised if we hear more about this game from the league in the near future

He set a screen and d wade turned into a wussy about it. He got a 2nd technical because of what he said which is stupid.

That flagrant turned the game around again. c) Is Miami going to be relying on Wade to go for 35+ on sick shooting every game (not gonna happen) and James Jones hitting like 6 three's (not gonna happen). Despite the fact that Miami edged out a win here, they didn't look particularly impressive, and an overall poor Celtics play + poor officiating played a big role. I don't see Miami winning. I'm going to objective-ize your post because you fail to look at this game from both perspectives. a) It wouldn't have mattered because the Celtics had a better +/- when he went off the floor at the end of the game. Don't act like they'd have won the game. You know they wouldn't have. b) I understand that call was a momentum-shifter, but there were plenty of calls that went Boston's way too, such as the non-called clear-path/flagrant foul from Rondo on James in the 1st Q. There were multiple calls in this game that were either made or not made. O'Neal is an idiot for blatantly forearm shoving a cutting player like that. Maybe it didn't deserve a flagrant, but it was a cheap shot. There's a difference between nudging a guy off his cut and blatantly sticking your shoulder into him. c) Are you a Boston fan? You fail to point out that Ray Allen has shot over 50% from three this playoffs and did again today. Is Boston going to rely on Ray shooting 50% from three every game (not gonna happen) and shooting 50% from three as a team (not gonna happen) like they did today? Apparently you didn't notice that Boston shot a better percentage from 3 than Miami did today. Boston didn't lose this game at the 3-point line. The thing is, Miami didn't "edge out a win". They were winning the entire game, by double digits most of the second half. With two teams as closely matched as these two, "edging out a win" does not equal being ahead by double digits for most of the game. Miami has complacency issues when they get ahead in games. They blew numerous huge leads this year (to Orlando, New York, Chicago to name a few) and sometimes lose focus on their offensive execution and drift into one-on-one mode. When Miami executed on the offensive end of the floor, they looked dominant this game. When they got complacent after being ahead by 15+ points, they didn't. Today it was James Jones hitting 3's, but next game it could be Chalmers, Bibby or even Miller. I'm not trying to sound like a Miami homer here, but I think it's ridiculous to look at this game and try to find excuses for why Miami won and Boston lost when clearly Boston just got outplayed. In addition, looking at this game and thinking Miami is lucky to win because Wade played well and Jones hit a lot of shots is absolutely ludicrous; Miami has 3 star players that can kill you on any given night and role players that can hit threes just like Boston. This was a team effort from Miami and any attempt to poke holes in their play today is pretty pathetic. They owned Boston today. For the Celtics lovers who want to bash my post, when the Celtics win a game this series I'll make a post like the one that I quoted above saying the Celtics are relying too hard on whatever facet of their game that they executed well in that particular game and you'll realize just how annoying posts that don't look at the game from the sides of both teams are.

EDIT: Liverpool is an English Soccer club for those of you who don't care much for soccer. They're very storied and, until recently, always competitive.

Lebron comes from a working class family, so that's pretty Liverpool-y. And while he might be a sellout, the object of a bandwagon can't also be a bandwagoner. Unless you're suggesting he jumped on some bandwagon?

Atlanta, same thing only even more so. Stats said Atlanta was great against Orlando but are terrible against every other team defensively. And I was the only one here who thought Atlanta might beat Orlando.
