I really liked TP. It's pretty similar to Portal, though the narrative isn't as good.

I really like the Talos Principle. I liked the puzzles more than Portal's. It doesn't have the same kind of narrative as Portal instead the story asks you to have a discussion about some basic philosophical ideas. I definitely recommend it for 10 bucks.
I heard it gives some people motion sickness.

If I don't have a ps4/XB1 is MGS Ground Zeros for PC any good or am I better off waiting until I eventually get a ps4? Also is Stick of Truth as good as everyone says?
|
stick of truth is a must have, but it's better if you watched the previous south park season to get all the reference they are making, a really great game
by MGS ground zero you mean the whole MGS V ? i played it on pc, no problem occured as far as i'm concerned

Nah I mean just ground zero, I'm definitely gonna wait for MGSV for when I get my ps4. I just wanted to know if the PC port was as good or if it was fucked up, as some PC ports tend to be. Speaking of which did the fix Tales of Symphonia's PC port? I heard it was utter garbage when it first came out

i can confirm you that the pc port is really decent

Wasteland2 is basicly a not so simplified but simplified Fallout (1 or 2). It's a really good game. Much longer. Count 50 to 70h for a first run.
Yeah, I might try it. 10-15 hours for $3 looks just like buying a cheaper paperback novel.

Would Symphonia or Zestiria be a better entry point for a series newbie?

As someone who played Symphonia for the GCN back in the day I can say its a really fun game packed with hours and hours of content. I can't speak to Zestiria as I've never played it but I know Symphonia is great

i liked the writing of BL1 better but it is older and is optimized worse, i get better frames on 2 than i do on 1 (gtx 760), but the humor was really good and i had fun with it.

Now that i'd have extra money to spend, there's nothing i have/want to buy.

I'm having a hard time spending money in this sale too, just got my summer bonus too so I'm loaded even but still having hard time spending any, getting old I guess.
I do want the new Doom, Tomb Raider and Just Cause but I kind of want to wait for actual price drops on those as I want none of them that badly.
Kind of want Banner Saga 2 but it's only -20%.
Bought Mordheim and refunded it-
So all I've got so far is Overfall which seems enjoyable and Cook, Serve, Delicious! for some local co-op, so I've only spent like 13 euros.
Ps. Is Arkham Knight functional now?

i don't think Zestiria is very good, but it's a fine game on its own and is a good entry imo. the combat feels fine. i've only played it to about 50% while the rest of the tales games i've played pretty thoroughly. Symphonia is pretty dated, so keep that frame in mind while you consider your experiences playing older games lately.
Wasteland 2 is as good as a unity game can get and is a good throwback to old fallout games. my only gripe with it is that it gets repetitive and a little clunky. it's quite a long game so if it ever gets boring, the game will get dropped quick. i also really dislike unity (the engine it was created in) on my old system. just so much memory usage.
Shadowrun is an awesome alternative to that, though the game has a lot of text and there is not quite as much base-content as a game like XCom has. it has a streamlined storyline with a few side-things. I would go with the later standalone games but each game has its own theme which it tries very hard to stay within (of course, alongside the dystopian-ish cyberpunk theme), so find the one you like.
I don't think Borderlands 1 is worth it. If you have a friend who is super down to co-op, that's great, but the newer borderlands are just a better update to the game.

Banished is a neat little town-builder based on the idea that your group of citizens have been exiled and have to fend for themselves. Set up your shelter, food, and equipment needs, assign jobs, and even trade with the occasionally passing trade boats. Good for at least 10 hours of play minimum for someone just casually interested in seeing how it works, but there's decent replayability with the randomly generated maps and choosing different ways to go about developing your colony. I've probably put 80 hours or more into this game, I find it relaxing and gratifying.
66% off bringing it to $6.79 USD or your local equivalent.
