I'm not sure why you think the release of the creation kit will cause anything to happen. It's not like the game will suddenly stop using esp files or something.
Patches can, of course, cause incompatibilities, but that's how it is currently.

Yea every quest line in Skyrim is like 3 hours long. I guess they spent too much memory and manpower on graphics.

Have you tried offline mode? I know that has helped me in the past.

Wow, I didn't think about this lol. That's pretty ruthless

I did not play any of the previous Elder Scrolls games, but I thought the Dark Brotherhood questline was epic!

The only thing I liked more in oblivion was all these really special assassinations that you could only do with the dark brotherhood, for instance where you had to drop a deer's head ontop of an old man by loosening the bolts upstairs. Storywise though I think skyrims dark brotherhood was equally as good.

OMG IM DOWNLOADING THIS RIGHT NOWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So i'm making that invincible character with the crazy deadra gear and shit. My enchanting is about 4 dwarven ruins worth of soul gems from maxed, and my alchemy will be maxed after about 23 more times buying all the ingredients from a shop and selling them back as potions. I'm curious if anyone knows the best people to get alchemy and enchanting training from to make this process go a lot quicker. I need to get this shit done fast so I can get back to starcraft...
Also does anyone know what ingredients make fortify blacksmith? I haven't run across that effect yet in all my potion spamming.

Overall I think DB was good in both, Thieves was good in both, Mages/College was probably a bit better in Oblivion, Fighters/Companions was a million times better in Oblivion, Main Quest was way better in Skyrim though.

The companions quest in Skyrim was very boring and bland. The fact that they force you to + Show Spoiler + makes it even more stupid.

Dragons MUST be a challenge, and with that mod, they are for sure. Are you playing with PISE mod? Yeah, PISE + Deadly Dragon. Makes Skyrim more interesting and the Dragons challenging again. That looks interesting! Not saying it's better than default ENB due to its fantasy themed shading, but any change is welcoming at this point after 140 hours of gameplay.
Yeah it's quite a nice EBN setting, I really enjoy it (although I had to turn off some stuff to save pc). As for realism, for me that doesn't always matter since I don't think 100% focus on realism is necessary to create good immersive eye-candy ^^
Using it in combination with FXAA Post Process Injector (which makes it too sharp atm, need to find out how to tone that down a bit) and various texture packs, some more pics below:

Does anyone have some suggestions for texture or graphics mods?

+ Show Spoiler +Do the Totems of Hircine stack? Like, can you pray to all three and receive each "howl", or do you have to choose between them, a la Nightingale powers? If the former, how does one toggle between howls?
Also, I tried entering Beast Form in front of Aela the Huntress, and she became hostile. Apparently, she doesn't like other werewolves...?

I just installed a bunch of graphics mods...
My God, my love for this game is reignited evertyhing is so prettttttttty

The dark brotherhood was a lot more fun in oblivion because of the length. I am really disappointed by the thieves guild, it didn't even feel "thiev-ish" at all, a lot of this because of the nightingale bullshit. Can someone recommend any fun quests?
