Nexus Mod Manager fixed all my problems, what a wonderful program. :D I wish people explained things in more simple terms, I got caught on the instal area for a bit since I had to make a Games folder in C:, wish they would have just put it like that but oh well. Loving this program, does everything for me!

Yeah, PISE + Deadly Dragon. Makes Skyrim more interesting and the Dragons challenging again.

That looks interesting! Not saying it's better than default ENB due to its fantasy themed shading, but any change is welcoming at this point after 140 hours of gameplay.

I just bought Skyrim this very afternoon, and now it seems I can't install it because "the Steam servers are too busy". W-T-F?? Like seriously wtf. Had I known I was at the mercy of the Steam servers' capacity, I would not have bought it. SO stupid.

And yes, I followed the {path to steam} - install D: advice. Still "too busy".

Just keep on trying. I have encountered that problem once or twice before, just keep on hitting install and eventually it will start installing.

Yes i just finished skyrim after 150 hours of play ... bought another gam ein the sale and had the steam servers busy.

I CANNOT DESCRIBE HOW ANGRY THAT MAKES ME.

You should be able to download the game and *then* buy the license to unlock it. What they did is tantamount to temporary theft.

Is there are any way to fix the render distance, so that every time I'm somewhere high (e.g. a tower) I'm not looking at a bland, unpopulated landscape? I'm already playing max settings...

Open Skyrim Launcher -> Options -> Advanced -> View Distance Tab -> put all on max

Anybody have good ideas for something fun and unique. Like maybe playing with only illusion. I've tried several builds and many mods but I can't seem to find something challenging.

So, now I've done the major questlines (main, thieves, college and dark brotherhood) and gotten pretty much the best gear (daedric) and I don't feel like doing any of the sidequests or clearing any dungeons, eventhough I know that I'm missing out of the majority of the content.
Anyone else feel the same way?

Was kinda my issue with the game, gear progression seemed to top out too quickly. Not a lot of drive once the loot wears off.

Play Morrowind. But really, this game is more of a God of War action/adventure game aimed towards casual players, which is fine, but it leaves a lot of the 15 year old loyal fan base wanting more.

Wish I hadn't bought a "torture chamber" for the new Dark Brotherhood sanctuary, really creepy hearing them all moan and groan, I like assassinating people in the game for the group but that's some crazy stuff. lol

Found a pretty nice glitch today on my "assassin" toon.

If you are wearing the "Ancient Shrouded Cowl" which has an effect of 35% bow damage on it, you can then also put on "Cicero's Hat," which increases your sneak by 35%. With both helms on the effects stack...unintended I'm sure, but pretty damn awesome.

P.S I'm aware of the falmer helm+circlet glitch for alchemy, but this one is totally different afaik.

If you talk to them a lot, they'll give up a stash of gold somewhere on the map. They also can be used to train pickpocket and sneak, or you can just kill them for funsies.

How can I reset mod stuff back to default, I deactivated it in Nexus Mod Manager but the mod is still on when I get in game, do I have to go in and manually delete things or something? I Googled the heck out of that question and it seems finding basic information like that is very difficult. edit-Nevermind I've finally figured out this entire mess and had to delete all the stuff I had done manually so that I could turn off stuff with that Manager program. Can't believe how bad I mixed it all up before, I blame the "internets" for making me confused.

TL always puts things simply, wish all the other forums out there did the same thing.
