This is my first RPG and Elder Scrolls game, so I'm a tad clueless, I have read about it before but nobody in that Steam thread said what they expected out of it. Would be cool if they could make new shouts and stuff. ^^

I hope we see a new Interface fast. SkyUI is nice, but only for the Inventory. I hope for a Charactersheet where you can see your stats summerized (magic-resistance etc).

I used console commands to get divorced and bought another amulet from the Riften guy, finished the Companions quests and then that one "totem" mission for Aela but for some reason she won't give the dialog so I can marry her. She just says "oh I see your wearing an amulet of mara" etc, I raised her relationship rank to 4 (lover) and that dialog option still alludes me. Anyone have any insight into this? I married that Rjola girl, so I know how to do all that and got it all setup but she just won't say it. As far as I know, you can only get married once. If for some reason your spouse dies or whatever, you can't get remarried. At least, that's what I read on the UESP page on marriage. Speaking of problems, I got one of my own. The question WILL contain spoilers, so if you have not completed the Imperial Legion / Stormcloak questline, as well as Blood on the Ice, don't open the spoiler. + Show Spoiler + So, I took the Imperial questline, and just completed it by killing Ulfric. I was told that Brunwulf Free-winter would become the new Jarl, but he has no dialogue proclaiming such. I want to become the Thane of Wndhelm and purchase Hjerim, but without the game acknowledging Brunwulf as a Jarl, I can't really do that. Part of the reason for this might be that I was in the middle of doing Blood on the Ice when I finished the Imperial Legion quests. When I spoke with Brunwulf, I realized that I hadn't completed it yet, and immediately did so. Didn't seem to help at all, because even though the Butcher was caught, I still can't become a Thane or purchase Hjerim. Any help?

The quest isn't over yet if you caught Wuunferth. You'll just have to wait.

+ Show Spoiler + I loved sniping that little Vittoria Vici while she was like "honoured guests". Took one from left corner of the castle wall, sneak bonus on enchanted daedric legendary bow... awww yeah. Also, I loved how many books I looted from the Emperor's ship, time to fill up those Markarth house bookshelves!

Awesome quest! | ||

They felt kinda rushed to me. Cicero was entertaining tho

I promise and guarantee you'll enjoy your skyrim experience more. Quests all feel worthwhile doing, new zones with the same ol monsters feel FUN, worthwhile, gold is sparse so you constantly feel rewarded and improving your character. Stay away from bugs that improve your skills easily like ungrien in riften, ( I disabled him in console as u can get 100 speech too easily with him). You can still aim for godly crafted weapons but it takes a LONG time to attain with cutthroat merchants. Dragons are EPIC with deadly dragons, and I'm absolutely loving this game with these mods. Also get balanced magic for a better magic experience. I promise these mods are worth it, from a guy who poured over 200 hours into this game. For reference I'm also a hardcore wow raider but I haven't been this entertained by a game since vanilla. I'm also a masters Zerg and this game hasn't been a challenge but at least deadly dragons and pise have made it more of a strategic involvement. So at skyrimnexus.com. Get the following mods: PISE (improved skyrim experience) - I only got better a.i. And more spawns. You can do this with a manual install of the first download file Deadly dragons - get the file from manual download that allows it to run with pise Balanced magic - for mages, I disable it on my current thief character but it's insanely helpful and balances the specs for mages Glowing ore veins - With cutthroat merchants it's definately worth it to mine all metal ores Cutthroat merchants - the game on normal simply gives too much gold. Way too much gold. After awhile it becomes useless, like in diablo. And the game becomes stale when u have the best gear from alchemy/smithing/enchanting and nothing is an upgrade. With cutthroat merchants, you can't earn the money to purchase crafting materials in any timely fashion so the game instantly becomes a rewarding and truly leveling experience for you. This mod was an absolute absolute godsend. Road maps - nice map mod for easier commuting Higher blood textures - love it! I promise if you treasure a worthwhile immersive rpg experience where you truly come along way to make your character powerful, use these mods. I 100% guarantee a more enjoyable skyrim experience.

You can kill Astrid at the very beginning, tell the guards, and purge the place instead of doing the questlines.

I was playing the game fine up until yesterday evening. It ran pretty well on medium/high (on average 24 FPS--not ideal, but playable), and then I left the game on for a while. I restart my game and all of a sudden I'm stuck at 7 FPS. On low settings, it gets up to the mid-high teens. Other games (like SC2) seem to work fine. My system specs: HP Pavillion dm4t-2000 notebook PC Windows 7 (64-bit) Intel Core i5-2410M @ 2.30 GHz 4 gigs ram Radeon HD 6470M Like I said, the game ran fine and then for seemingly no reason is now stuck at an unplayable 7 fps. I'm inclined to think this is a problem within the game since other games seem to run fine. Any suggestions? I'm at a loss. EDIT: found the problem: apparently the "high performance" power setting throttles my CPU. Putting it on "HP Recommended" solved the problem -_______-
