I'd like to enchant a bow with soul trap, but I can't find an item that has it t disenchant. Is there anywhere I could easily find one, or I must count on luck?

You can reduce the time to trap to 1 second, and the damage still stays at 10 (and I'm 20 enchanting only). This way you get about 600 charges per soul stone. I put it on my sword and bow. So no matter how I kill something I get a soul, while keeping the damage. This is my second play through, doing 2 handed smithing. Previously I got to lvl 52 with a mage that I eventually turned into a sneak archer. Armor and weapons the way to go with this game, the Mage gear being near pointless makes the game alot less fun. Smithing is almost a must because all the gear is crafted.

Unfortunately the best gear in game for mages seems to be bought from shops, as those can get up to 150% magika regen with 25% destruction/alteration/conjuration etc, while enchanted stuff, even with a 35% enchanting pot, will only go to 84% magika regen and 29% destruction. Personally I'm having a ton of fun with dual wielding. While a 2h can probably deal more damage flat then two weapons combined, the added attack speed and 2x double enchants more than makes up for that.

Who do you guys think is the best overall follower? Currently I'm using Arenea (is that how you spell it?), the Priestess of Azura and I'm absolutely amazed at how much better she is then guys like Lydia, Farkas, Aela, etc.

When I first got her as my follower she was a significantly more powerful mage than I was! She's dead accurate, too. I'd be walking through the forest and then she'd just randomly start sniping some bear with her lightning, from like half a mile away. ![]()

He relied a lot on conjuration to tank the damage for him while he phew phewed from a distance. Yes it is a lot more slow and fragile at the begining, but it works very well towards the end. Unless you're deliberately trying not to get the somewhat game breaking 100% spell cost reduction from enchants, I see no reason why you would ever enchant magicka regen? I also beat the game on highest difficulty as a pure mage, and while it went slow before I decided to level enchanting for cost free spells, I daresay it's become almost easier than playing melee since I did. Hell, you can almost use solely illusion from that point if you please - save for immune mobs - it's still easy when you can cast indefinitely.

He is very accurate with spells, and often has insightful comments in dungeons. In dungeons, I take comfort in the fact that he is there with me. He is also an expert in Nordic ruins, and would enjoy Dwemer ruins too if everything in there wasn't trying to kill him.
