She summons minions and uses quite powerful spells, don't think she has died once either as I gave her full Dragonbone armour and she has pretty much soloed dragons among other things. http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/The_Black_StarAlso your followers definitely power up as you level but I don't think they unlock new skills etc. Edit: Also make sure to return the star to the same person that gave you the quest (Aranea) rather than Nelacar or no follower.
Sweet..exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!

Anyone else think a Game of Thrones mod would be sick? This game has unbelievable potential.

Anyone use bound weapons at all? I can't figure out what they are for. Maybe I'm doing it wrong though.

Skyrim is probably going to end up as the biggest game ever. I'm so excited to see what DLC/Expansions come out, along with the ridiculous amount of content mods that will come out. Basically, I'll be playing this game forever.

I wanted to spend just an hour of playing before studying, but thanks to the weight system, it ruined my hour. A dragon attacked me out of nowhere near Windhelm, and by looting the bones and scales, I was literally fucked. The speed was sooo slow. I had to waste 30min trying to get to Windhelm in super slow mode, try to find a merchant desperately, but I could not. I had to steal a horse just to fast travel, and I went back and sold a couple just to be able to fast travel again, and then stored the rest in my home at the College. Seriously, I understand why the mechanic is there, but it just fucked up the night for me.
Anyone having weight problems and spending 30 mins slowmode walking should do the bunny hop trick from previous elder scrolls games......Stack the items you want to move and drop them in front of you.......HOLD E on them....If you tap E you will pick them up, if you HOLD E you will grab and move said item......Run with it in front of you to wherever you wanna go and you will run as fast as normal while still carrying that big stack of dragonsbone!

For my part, I'm happy they even allowed you to move when encumbered. It certainly wasn't the case in Oblivion. And yes, horses are nice for carrying loads as well.
Is there any spell you can learn that increases carrying capacity?

Loooving in the game, 10 out of 10 easily for me, Storyline is great.
Just wait + Show Spoiler +until you get to the final battles, pretty epic.
Has anyone been able to get the moot to happen ? do you have to do some quest lines for it to take place and the next high king to be named?

When you say horses are good for carrying loads I hope you aren't talking about what you could be talking about.

Would some guys here be willing to help me get a free game?
A gaming Q&A site has a contest running (it's called Skyrim vs MW3, can be found here: www.skyrimvsmw3.com ), and during the period, the user with the answer with the most upvotes gets a free game ($60 and below). I currently have 34 upvotes for this answer:
http://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/34615/how-do-enemies-and-monsters-level-up/34622#34622
but the top guy beats me by about 16 upvotes.
I don't ask you to auto upvote, but I ask you to register, read my answer and decide if it's worth it to upvote. if so, upvote, and I'd be very glad you did
And then I'd urge you to use the site, since it's awesome

Does anyone know if there is any console commands that triggers main quest events? Because when you + Show Spoiler + go with Esbern and Delphine to karthspire they just fuck around running in the same circle all the time so I can't open the door because I need Esbern to talk to me first. But they don't even go to Karthspire to begin with.

FML skyrimnexus is down in fact, all of the nexus sites are down... TT must have more mods!!!

Figured why enchanting was ruining my items...the damage/armor values were being shown as base stats after enchanting, because the item wasn't worn, and it would normally decrease if you has skills that boost damage or armor. As soon as you equip it, your +% skills bring it back up to starting values.
Needless to say, I did a lot of enchanting today.

Where do you find this lovely item? I'm currently lvl 21, skill learning slowed down a bit so could use some boost

I'm personally waiting to get mods, as most right now are simply terrible. I'll wait until the CK is released, and people have time to make quality texture/graphics/content mods.

I just found out that the gloves you get from the dark brotherhood that give you double sneak attack damage actually stack with the 15x backstab damage from the dagger perk.
So basically I can now hit for 30x damage out of sneak attacks with my dagger. This means I deal at least 1500 damage with one blow

What's the point of going sneak if you can't find straight-up as hell against Dragons or bosses?

Yea, sneak perks are ridiculously powerful in Skyrim compared to the previous TES games, which is a breath of fresh air, in my opinion. Though that item is a bit lolworthy in terms of powerful items. Enjoy!
Question, does that item work with bow sneak attacks?

the point is when you finish the Thief Guild questline you get a buff that makes you invisible as soon as you enter sneak mode and then you can do the backstab damage again.
That aside with the light armor perks I have over 500 armor rating and deal so much damage in close combat thanks to the dualwield 50% dmg plus and the 25% powerattack dmg plus that I can basically tank and kill a dragon easily. The only problem is magic which I could do something about with enchanting but it's too tedious to level up

Is there any vendor that can sell me some uber swords for a large sum of gold coins, or perhaps I can create something through blacksmithing?
Thanks in advance
Theres a few options available to you.
The first one is to level smithing because the vendors take quite some time prior to introducing new weapons/armor.
My second suggestion is...
+ Show Spoiler +...to retrieve the red eagle sword.
Its a magic sword that kills undead (flee + immolation) which you can get easily at your level. This is the result of a quest you get by openining the corresponding book in Dragonreach, the Jarl's Palace of Whiterun. Just look for the book. (there's another quest from the books in there too but i'll let you find it).
