The flakiest of snow 3-0 against Fallen Kings. Got really lucky and came out of the game with no permanent damage. Sadly, have to face the fourth of five bashy teams in the league, all in my first four matches, lol. Here's hoping for more luck!

Good week, guys. Most games were played extremely fast. Had to award Cloudica a WO against Lyter, but hopefully that won't become an issue for Match Day #4.

My position as a commissioner is a strange one. Under my belt, I boast a mere 30 or so games. My understanding of the way the game works is pretty clear, despite my skill being subpar. To make up for my lack of strategy and understanding compared to all of you veterans, I've hoped to create an environment wherein everybody is having fun, is learning and is well organized.

While I feel I've done pretty well, things have not been as flawless as I had hoped. I've had to make several rulings that may or may not have been the best choice, as well as invent many-a-rule on the spot. I failed to prepare proper seedings, which has resulted in many high-scoring games in Division 1 and many low-scoring, casualty-filled games in Division 2. While some players have found success, others have found complete and utter terror. While the god of dice rolls has certainly favored some players over others, I do feel responsible for some of the rampage that has occurred. To those teams who feel they've been unjustly getting bashed upon game after game, I very much apologize and hope you find it in you to continue playing and have fun in the process.

I'm looking for ways to improve this league and all leagues to follow it. This includes rules, seedings, scheduling, restrictions, how to treat WO's versus Draws, ways in which we can better communicate with one another, etc etc. One of the primary questions I'm asking myself is how or whether to let teams from previous leagues join new leagues.

I'm opening the floor to you guys, as I wish to provide as best and fun of a league as possible. If you want to post here and offer some advice or critique, feel free to do so. If you'd rather send me a PM or talk to me on IRC, I will be available for that as well. Just let me know what you think of what's gone on so far and how you feel it could be better in the future!

Just want to say thanks again to Nokarot for running/organizing this league. I know it's a lot of work and headache, but I really appreciate it.

As far as team carryover goes I'm happy with anything. Developing an new team is fun, as is continuing to develop a veteran team. With the size/length of our league it could go either way.

If it was smaller I would say carryover because you need ~10-15 games to move a team from nub/unskilled to interesting.

If it was larger I'd say start fresh because 20-30 games and your team is going to be well developed. Also if it was larger we could have a smaller/shorter league for new teams, then a larger/longer league for seasoned teams.

As it is I don't care either way, I'm just happy to play.

Yeah, thanks Nokarot! You've been great! I haven't won a game yet, but that doesn't bother me. I think a lot of new players will get sour and bitch over a loss, injury, or whatever, but those are probably people who aren't comfortable with the game of BB yet. I'm a noob, but I realize that BB is not some game where you use immaculate skill and carefully nurture a team to victory etc. Players die, shit happens, and plenty of games just go pear-shaped because of the luck of the dice. Absolutely no reason to get mad over it.

I would vote for not carrying over teams though, mostly because anyone who was doing poorly at the start will never get a chance to win by the third season. They just fall too far behind.

I have absolutely zero complaints with your admining so far though, Noka. And your reminders are extremely helpful. Not sure what else there is to say. The way I feel, it couldn't get any easier to play or enjoy this league. Had no idea some people were upset.
