Does anyone know, how the teams of the same conference are chosen, against which a team plays only 3 times instead of 4, and why are not 4 games added to play all conference teams 4 times?

Derrick Rose is probably a slightly better defender than D-Will now. He improved a lot under Thibs. Thats about where all his advantages stop. He's a scoring PG that is an above average passer and above average defender. But Chris Paul is elite at almost everything and so is Deron Williams. Remember that the hype that Derrick Rose is getting now is the same hype D-Will and CP3 had in 08-09. As for what D-Rose needs to work on his shot selection is pretty bad at times. Thats why his FG% is so low compared to last year. He still isn't a ball thief but he's getting there. He's also not a "kill your entire team" scorer the likes of Wade, Lebron or Kobe. In fact no one in the NBA except Dirk is probably even close to that level.

Edit: after some digestion Devin Harris is overrated, so that's definitely an improvement. With Favors it gets murky, isn't Favors supposed to be good? This deal is all about Favors. The only (basketball) knock on Deron Williams I've heard, was that he's horrible in the fast break, which was why Sloan was yelling at him to not make dumb decisions. More editting: Sloan's reaction "I have no reaction to what the Jazz are doing. We wish him well," Sloan said of Williams. "We wish the Jazz well. Good luck to Deron." Photos: Deron Williams' career D-Will is on the move from Utah to New Jersey. Enjoy photos of the All-Star's career: Deron Williams Photo Gallery Sloan then said he had to "go rake some leaves right now."

Brook Lopez really isn't the type of player who will complement Williams' game... he needs a guy to run pick and rolls with, Lopez is more of a banger down low. Plus, Williams can't take over games and win individually the way someone like Melo can. A one dimensional scorer would have been better for them as opposed to an elite PG who can really only thrive with good pieces surrounding him. NJ is basically the trash of LA's bench last year + Lopez + Williams now o_O

I checked out the stats for that hawks/wizards trade, seems a little imbalanced towards the hawks. Bibby seems like a loss for the hawks but really other than him it seems even. I thought with the start that the hawks had they would be a little better but being in eastern i can see why its hard to do good : /

If I told you you could have the #1 PG and the #5 Player at another position, that would be much worse than having the #1 Player at any other position and the #10 PG. There is negligible difference between the following PGs: Paul, Williams, Rose, Rondo, Nash, Westbrook and then a small but noticeable difference between those and these: Curry, Parker, Ginobili, Wall, Nelson, Jennings, Evans, Davis, Billups, Kidd. Point Guards are easy to find. Durant + Jose Calderon is better than Chris Paul + Marc Gasol

Who knows, maybe he can be a nice role player for the right team, but if I were a GM I wouldn't go near Roy with a 30 foot pole. It's pretty sad to see a promising career never reach the heights it should have, but barring some sort of Robocop knee, Roy is a spent force in the NBA.
