I don't really care if KG plays dirty or whatever, cause his style of play simply reminds me of basketball before 2000, before everything became more tame.

What I do have an issue with is how he starts shit and then runs like a pussy when he's about to get his ass whooped. I mean, if you're gonna constantly start fights and trash talk, you better be able to back it up without taking cheap shots. It's just cowardly to hit and run like a little bitch, which is what KG does all the time.

People are really missing the point here. The real problem is that players in the 2011 NBA aren't allowed to retaliate against dirty players. Ace brought up Laimbeer, who is a good example of a dirty player from the expansion era. What you have to understand is that Laimbeer had his face kicked in on multiple occasions. He was knocked down, pulled down on fast breaks, elbowed in the face, and hit by basketballs all the time. KG just gets people yelling at him. He only does this stuff because he knows he can get away with it. Early in his career, when Riley had turned the NBA into the Roman coliseum, he minded his own business. If anyone swings at him after one of his cheap shots, they get ejected and probably suspended for a few games. Basically, KG is a coward.

I don't know why this stuff always comes up when the Celtics win a big game. Remember when people were ripping apart Tim Duncan for opening his eyes too wide when he got called for fouls?
