You could also play as a monkey too, if I remember correctly. God, what's with those short characters in FPS, so obnoxious! Hahah.

Starcraft was balanced, but the arbiter was really good.

fn p90 in counter-strike beta 3
it was new in this release, and absolutely not balanced yet. why?
-highest rate of fire in the game -second largest clip (50 rounds) -best accuracy of the submachine guns -good damage -very quick reload -cheap

Yep, pretty much. Flash Hulk was so dumb.

Haha, that deck looks silly. No but seriously, the best Magic card is Balance, hands down. Trust a hardcore Vintage player. A 4 Balance deck beats a 4 AR deck any day.

Xin Zhao in League of Legends. he's so easy to play and he just destroys everyone..

Fuck this guy. Not only did you take constant damage, but the boss wasn't a cakewalk either, and the only way to bring him out of his puddle form was through bombs that missed all the time because he kept moving into you, making you take even more damage. Then he decides he's not annoying enough for you, and summons like five minions that seem to spawn wherever you're moving, and are your only source of health in the fight... and even then, they tend to outdamage the healing, what with trying to kill them off while avoiding the rest of them along with the boss itself. And to top it all off, if you DID manage to kill the boss, you'd die on the way back to the save point because you took too much damage, forcing you to fight the bastard AGAIN.
Blagh...

Faust from Legend of Dragoon.
Double counters every time you hit him and most of the time the concentrated spell would straight up one shot the person that hit him. He was basically immune to spell damage and on the occasion his turn would come up you could pretty much guarantee at least 2 dead people in your party from nowhere.
Grand Jewel was also a pretty gay boss in that game.

Seriously. Full Party Heal for 3MP? Extremly strong dual techs (with ayla or lucca) and his uzzi-punch with crisis arm is nuts.

just get crono put that gold thingy on him that 1/4ths his mana cost and luminare all day. that spell was so epic. oh and run marle to haste his ass.
|
the problem with luminare is that it scaled way too high off magic power because it assumed Crono would have low magic, but if you used the perma magic gain things on him, it became unbelievably stupid.
|
god idk if its the nostalgia but i still think luminare had the most epic animation. theres just so much buildup. i get all happy and warm inside everytime i see it. god now i need to go back and play that game for like the 30th time(not exaggerating)
|
Luminare is the strongest tech in the game, sure, but Crono is not even close to be as strong as Robo is. But to be fair, in a High level game almost all characters are overpowered.
Btw Marle sucks. Just use Haste helm.

I think people posting the images in this thread should at least mention from which game the unit/weapon is from. Giving a short explanation as of why would be nice too.
![[image loading]](http://i30.tinypic.com/wk7wg.jpg) Game: GunBound (Classic) Unit: J.D. (or also known as Cakebot) Why?: Because it was one of the four single Bots that could do electrical (ignores defense) damage on top of the main attack. Optimally, a fully equipped character would have a defense bonus of 50% and attack bonus of around 35%. Because the full damage would be halved by the 50% armor bonus, most bots would only be able to deliver around 60-80 damage, while J.D. could hit 60 base damage + 30 electrical (fixed damage) with its first shot. The first shot in gunbound is the quickest shot, meaning that your bot doesn' t accumulate too many delay points and may strike twice in a single round.
Its second shot, would suck units to the center of the explosion. Because, one way of killing the opponent was to drop it out of the platform, J.D. could easily fight in maps with thin platforms too.
Its Super Special Shot would do the opposite. Although they nerfed it in later versions of Gunbound, J.D. SS would push bots way from the explosion. Another easy way to drop bots off the platform, the nerf prevented this from happening.
This doesn't apply to new versions of GunBound because this bot was highly nerfed.
Lightning Bot was the only bot that could match J.D., but all of its shot come from above (lightning), so it would depend a great deal in positioning of each player to be effective. J.D. shots come from the gun barrel so it is effective in any scenario. Grub was another bot that had electrical damage, but it wasn't effective at all. It would just be absorbed by armor unlike Lightning or JD's. Aduka was listed under the electrical offender, but its damage used to be entirely based on the satellite damage, plus it had mechanical body making it one of the easiest targets for other electrical units.

Bright Mages in Warhammer Online hiding behind a fortress wall and killing entire raids with Rain of Fire (only needed camera vision, not line of sight from character. Working as intended my ass).
