And even if you did not get good drops, early game set items, early game uniques etc were dropping much more frequently. 40 hours on my main, zero uniques or set items. Asked some friends, 4 replied, totaled we have something like 140 hours of game play pre inferno, that totaled to a whupping 1 legendary, that was so bad no1 wanted it in the auction house. I understand that most of the content has to be on inferno, but that does not mean that you can forget the whole early parts. =/
I've found 5 Legendaries
guess I should consider myself lucky then

It's worth a ton. Afaik stats are already counted towards the DPS, though your WD so it doesn't show. Check it's DPS on dex class. And no, those stats aren't worth 300dps. I'd say it's around 10m, if you can find the buyer.
try to get a screen shot with my monk before i go work and realize that my monk couldnt equip lol (she is lvl15). i am guessing it will go up to about 1200 dps if it was equipped on a monk.

The drop rate on them is just insanely low in general. And even when they do loot they doesn't mean a lot... I mean, I've seen at the AH a thousand version of Giant Skull, each with different stats. OK they all have that +armor and mass strenght, but that's it. Some have mf, others intel, it doesn't mean anything it's actually quite sad.
I think blizzard didn't think that legendary items, because they almost always had the same stats, could have a certain value, were trade for a certain price, and that having a hero will full legendary was also a goal you wanted to achieve that push you to play. Now it's all yellow bullshit everywhere.

has anyone tested high values for + life on hit? for inferno specifically. I heard that life steal- % dmg dealt converted to life is reduced in inferno. wanting to try out way of hundred fists (monk) with On hit + life

Going back to the LoD result where you had almost all uniques/sets/runewords with only a small number of high-rolling rares is probably not what they want.
Unfortunately they happened to overtune the random properties, so now even Inferno blues can compete with legendaries.

The only good thing about finding a legendary is that you can sell it for much more than a similar rare. I have no idea why people are willing to pay so much more for a legendary even though you can find a rare for much cheaper.

Wait... those actually sell? I assumed that people put huge starting bids/buyouts on their shitty legendaries because they were dumb.

Low level legendaries can be absolutely insane for a character though if well itemized. I found one with 30 str, 80 vit, 50 dps and a socket for a level 23 one hander, gave it to my friend. Made normal mode an absolute joke for him as a barb because I stuck a fairly high level gem in there.
Higher ones I'm kinda torn on because you see so much randomness.

I think 10m is an exaggeration but otherwise yes

Anybody know what the minimum DPS I should have as a WD on inferno Butcher is? I'm at around 12.3k right now.
|
^Should be fairly easy at 14-15k. Not sure about the minimum.

I have no idea why people are willing to pay so much more for a legendary even though you can find a rare for much cheaper. Some legendaries do have stats that won't ever occur on rares. Beckon Sail is the only cloke that has IAS, so it's pretty much mandatory for a DH.
I do agree that some people charge ridiculous amounts for some legendary items. Within the month there will be so many of them that the whole AH will see a major inflation. I think that within the year, each DH will have one or several Windforce bows. They're expensive now because there are so few of them, but once most people start to get good enough gear to reliably farm inferno, things will get a lot cheaper.

So whats with the insane rubber band lag when trying to run away from mobs? Is this something related to the launch that will go away soon or is it here to stay.

It depends a bit on what kind of item it is but it's a bit ridiculous.

Yeah, as more and more legendaries come out for sale I'm sure the prices will go down. I'm just not sure why people buy legendaries that have no or very minor special stat over rares.

The only legendary that I'm wearing on my wizard out of the 4-5 I've found, rest have been meh or shit. Any idea what this one would be worth on the AH?
