Any idea what this one would be worth on the AH? Easiest is to search for it in the auction house and seem what bids and buyouts it seems to be at. Also look at the time left to see if people are buying them out at a certain cost to get a decent idea what you would get (if most at a certain price have a lot of time left, it probably means they sell pretty fast). I just made a quick look and it seems people set buyouts at 500 000 and up to several mills for that one.

Not much, socket is pretty much a must have on helm. 10-14% life is just insane and MF aswell if your farming.

Yeah main drawback for it is no vit or gem slot. But it'll serve well while I upgrade my other slots first.

When I was playing my alt Wizard today with my friend ( we are on Hell). I died in SK and after a while there is a time appear that count down from 2 minutes. Got res shortly afterward though.
I think when the timer run out you simply got released? and can't be res'd anymore? If so, did they just imply this after the hotfix or it was here from the beginning?

Am I the only one who finds it annoying that there is a respawn timer when you're playing solo? What's there to wait for, really? I mean sure, it can affect monster health / regen etc, but then just let us fast forward up until that point ffs. At least in Inferno where you die a ton of times it'd be nice to not being forced to wait so long everytime you run into a troublesome rare/champion pack, which happens pretty damn often.

Anyone know what tactics to use for Diablo Inferno as a Witch Doctor? Been on him for 10 hours and still not much progress!
The dot in particular are not dodge able and hurt like hell.

Anyway, tip for anyone fighting the butcher: If he successfully hooks you, you can actually spirit walk away before he chomps down on you. Saved me from getting instagibbed a few times... but died even more times because it was on cooldown -_-

Yes, Spirit Walk is a must to survive his teleport+hit.

If you have sufficient lag, all enemies teleport! Also, you have permanent frost damage effect. It's like being an enemy in a max payne game.

Btw guys, did you see how much blizzard is going to take for every trade at real money auction house? They said it will be 15% (like gold AH) for gemms/recyclestuff/etc. and 1$ for the armor parts and weapons. I find 1$ to be extremely high since I didn't expect the best items to be sold over 5$. What do you think?

Ah yes, the never ending game of spirit walk chicken. My typical brain flow while playing:
"Do I use it now? No, I can survive. Well...Yeah better be safe *spirit walk*Good call, I got away...Shit...No...Fuck...God damnit why did I use that so early, I could have survived...Idiot"

I think the amount is a little tough, but godly items will sell for much more than $5, they did in D2, they will in D3.

Diablo Normal teleports as well.
On Normal my DH would dps dps dps, teleport -> reaction smoke screen, dps, dps, dps. Every other attack I just out ranged by having Diablo off screen.

"Much more than $5"?
Top-end D2 items (eg: perfect stat torches, Enigma, Anni) went for like ~$7-$8

i do wonder if the gold sinks in the game will be enough. It's very clever of them to make almost half the gems inaccessible except by taking enormous amounts of gold out of the economy, and the price of items has pretty much has a floor set by the blacksmith, but are people really not going to amass vast amounts of gold in such huge numbers that the item game becomes trivial? The stuff is constantly rolling in.On May 24 2012 18:29 maartendq wrote:Show nested quote +On May 24 2012 16:58 gruff wrote: The only good thing about finding a legendary is that you can sell it for much more than a similar rare. I have no idea why people are willing to pay so much more for a legendary even though you can find a rare for much cheaper. Some legendaries do have stats that won't ever occur on rares. Beckon Sail is the only cloke that has IAS, so it's pretty much mandatory for a DH. I do agree that some people charge ridiculous amounts for some legendary items. Within the month there will be so many of them that the whole AH will see a major inflation. I think that within the year, each DH will have one or several Windforce bows. They're expensive now because there are so few of them, but once most people start to get good enough gear to reliably farm inferno, things will get a lot cheaper. eerhm, i think you mean deflation?

Those aren't godly items though. Incredible rares with perfect stats for a certain build are godly items. I can't say how much they go for though but considering the rarity, probably a lot more than perfect torches or whatever.
