Also in an interview with Jay Wilson he stated that they will NOT balance the game or support it for PvP. He basically just said it's a casual way to have fun, and most certainly not an e-sport. So if anyone thought D3 would become the new e-sport, it will probably never happen. You can read the entire interview at diablofans.com | ||

So, they take out skills, traits - which from their explanation seems like a decent enough move - but then they remove the last remnant of fully accountable customization apart from gear? Wow. Copy-pasta characters with different gear sure seems awesome. | ||

"We want the PvE game to rule it. Even the amount that PvP can alter the PvE game in WoW is unacceptable to us. Whenever we run into a case where “this would be really awesome for PvE” and the PvP guys says “ that kind of screw PvP” the answer is always “shut up PvP guy, it’s awesome in PvE”. And I'm so very glad they're not trying to make PvP competitive. It has no place in a diablo game. I'm please with all the reveal stuff! Sounds like it'll be a lot of fun! | ||
