was it ancient? i made 100HF this season, 2 ancients, both useless, out of that only 2 were remotely useful... fml Yeah it was ancient, so would have been perfect for augments and LoN builds. Maybe I shouldn't complain too much though, considering I found an almost 3.4k dps Yang's and a 3.3k dps dagger of darts in the first three days of the season. edit: Saders, in group rifts? Wut? They are pretty much the only class more in the shitter than DH in the group meta right now.

If not skipping trash, chakram is probably better, that kills trash pretty quick, and elites at the same time. But overall slower on elites alone, and slow on boss. =\ Edit: Talking about group grifts, if it wasnt clear. ![]() holy shit they killed fan of knives ![]()

M6? depends on your definition of best. m6 is by far the most consistent build. it doesn't care too much about rift layout and mob type. theorycrafters and the best dhs who reached #1 a few times expect nats and lon strafe on the top of the leaderboard when the season ends as they have slightly more potential given the perfect rift. one of them recently said on stream that nats might be 2-3 grift levels higher but it's a 1000 times less consistent. tldr: if you want to open a rift and have a good shot at finishing it -> m6 if you want to fish using 1000 grift keys -> nats

Tried both with chakram and multishot, but chakram is much more stable.

Right now for groups I'm sticking with Impale, but I went super defensive, since the damage output is more than high enough anyway. Visage, elusive ring and dawn in cube, all sockets diamonds, leech passive, awareness passive, boar pet, bracers of clarity (I think theyre called, that proc dmg reduction on hatred spenders) and taeguk. With permanent smoke screen from the set, I can facetank pretty much any situation in GR65 group rifts, which I hope should mean I could do up to 75ish if I vault around and play carefully. It has 0 solo potential, though, but that's OK.

Any advice on using Steed Charge (Spiked Barding)? I'm starting to think it's just a massive troll in the D3 community that I don't know about. x.x

I just beat GRift 69 last night with 5 seconds remaining (could've gotten a better roll on mob density), but I was trying to use Steed Charge with Spiked Barding as almost everyone is using and it doesn't seem to do anything. I've talked with a Crusader friend of mine and he was trying to explain to me how it works and that it does 'massive' damage and you can 'solo GRift 80+ with it' but I just don't see it. Any advice on using Steed Charge (Spiked Barding)? I'm starting to think it's just a massive troll in the D3 community that I don't know about. x.x I was under the impression that the spiked steed was for fast T10 farming and not progression. Are people making that work in high GR now...?

Well even in T10 my steed (at least with Invoker/Punish build) didn't kill things when I rode through them on T10 so it wasn't even useful there. I was just using Endurance to quickly find elites.

For LoN, you kill stuff with Bombardment, for Invoker's you kill stuff with punish. I use spiked barding with my LoN build because it clears TX mobs by just pass through them with all ancient gear. It does very little dmg when used with Invoker's. Here's a speedrift build for your reference. Replace shoulders with homing pad with 8% CDR, you get 100% uptime for steed charge spiked barding. Alternatively you can also use in-geom in cube: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Glacier-1662/hero/70965851
