Assumptions: You have zero tier 3 runes, you have unlimited money, and you want to have every good rune. 93 total runes 29 "good" 64 "bad" (Your mileage may vary, I think I was pretty liberal about choosing "good" runes but I almost certainly missed something or added the wrong thing) Odds of getting a good rune: 31.2% Average price for a good rune if you bought it tier 3: 812.93 Average price for a bad rune if you bought it tier 3: 671.17 (not really relevant here obviously) (cost per lvl 1 * combine number) = 15x25 = 375 total combine cost Average Number of combines to get a good rune: 3.21 Total cost for 3.21 combines = 1201.92 Total "good" runes needed for 9 per color: 29*9=261 I have no idea how to factor the probability of 9 of the same color in the first 32 rolls Example 1: not very good math + Show Spoiler + Assuming you don't get more than 9 of the same in the first ~32 combines: 32 combines = 10 good runes, 22 bad runes 11 more combines of 2 tier 3 bad runes = 3.43 good runes, 7.57 bad runes 3 more combines = .93 good runes, 2.07 bad runes one more combine rounds down to zero So from the first 32 combines it costs 12,000 You gain 14.36 good runes with fuzzy math for a cost per good rune of 835.65 Example 2 assuming you don't get any duplicates in the first 52 combines: 52 combines, 16.2 good runes and 35.8 bad runes 17.9 more combines = 5.58 good runes and 12.32 bad runes 6.16 more combines = 1.92 good runes and 4.24 bad runes 2.12 more combines = .66 good runes The first 52 combines cost 19,500 You gain 24.36 good runes with more fuzzy math costs 800.49 per rune Slightly better math than example 1, This shows a savings of about 35.16 per rune as long as you don't get more than 9 of any "good" rune - With an average cost of 800.49 that is a savings of 4.21% Costs and good vs. bad according to me + Show Spoiler + 205 410 515 820 1025 2050 edit: It's 1AM here. please check my math XD edit2: its now 2AM. this was driving me nuts so I had to do more corrections before sleep | ||

I start with cloth armor + 5 hpots, at blue. Chug pots to start and never stop. Smite to finish blue - then go wolves - wraiths - golems - red (smite will be back up before red). If you're going for a gank or think you can get away with a fast dragon, back for a ruby and go to dragon/lane. Otherwise walk back to wolves and they'll respawn right as you get there, and you can hit wraiths and golems the same way before needing to b. Then you can buy HoG, a ward and more pots to watch/take dragon. If you take dragon here you should hit lvl 7. I'm not very good, but with this setup, the jungling aspect gives me no trouble. | ||

with meditation, mp5 glyphs, and blue buff, you'll just BARELY run out of mana as you kill red the first time. The blue buff helps a ton early game, and then late game when your glyphs kick in, you won't need blue again. | ||
