We're pleased to say, that we've worked on a good deal with MLG and GOM, so ThorZaIN is able to compete in GSTL. Although he will travel to Korea in August, all matches from F.United will be postponed, so "white dude" ThorZaIN will be ready to rock some Koreans. Thanks to MLG and GOM who have been very cooperative on this matter and sorry from all parties involved for the rather unnecessary buzz about it. source: http://www.facebook.com/mousesports/posts/10150203992500906

People don't know this but Thorzain showed amazing manner in his games versus oGsMC at MLG Columbus because he could hear the casters and he paused the game, refusing to play (this was on the feature station, not the main stage). Very classy player.

Keep in mind, first time I'm doing this, didn't have spellcheck, didn't have time to read it though, any corrections are welcome Enjoy :D R = main interviewer, R2= the camera guy, T= The ThorZaIN R: Rakaka.se. We are here with ThorZaIN, the TSL winner. R: How are you doing? T: It's all good, it'll be quite a few hours until I'll play my games, so I'm just wandering around, looking at what's going on. R: How is your group looking? Do you think it'll be easy? T: Well... I'm facing JulyZerg, Sjow, Hasu, Machine and Sushi. It's not the hardest group, but it's not the easiest either. I guess it's medium. I think I should be able to make it, but it's quite heavily depending on if I'll beat Sjow or not. R: We talked with HayprO earlier, he counts the games against the korean in his group, Bomber, as a guaranteed loss. Is that something you do, or is it like "Nah I'll just win this." T: Noo..., I'm not afraid of players just because they're korean, I'm afraid of people who I believe are good. Sure, July is one of the best koreans, but his results are quite uneven, so it's not impossible to beat him. R: So, If you look outside of the group, who are the ones that are good? T: You mean the koreans? R: Eh, well ok yeah, the koreans first then. T: Well, I guess it's MC then like usual. (laugh) And there was a lot of koreans who are good, right? R: Yeah. T: I'm not entirely sure which ones are left, but I think it's just like MC, Bomber and July left, right? R2: Moon, Moon. T: Moon, moon. That's right. Well I guess MC is the best. Bomber, people says he's really good, but the only games I've seen with him is when he looses, so I can't really tell if he's good or not. R2: So how does it feel to play agianst Moon, if you will get that chance, who is an old Warcraft legend. T: (Smiles) He's actually one of the few war3 pro's that I haven't yet faced, so I guess it would be fun. Although I wasn't the biggest Moon-fanboy, I'm more towards the Lyn way, I guess. (Smiles) R: Can you recognize, when you are playing against old Wc3 pro's, that you have played a lot against before, can you recognize something of their play in SC2? T: No. nothing, as far as I've noticed. It's a new game, and there's not much to bring from Wc3, apart from (t/n: something something something, help appreciated here, :/ 2:12~) R: Allright, if we take a look at the foreigners, who poses the biggest threat? T: Against me or generally? R: Against you. T: Idra, like always, one of the best foreigners... Who do we have? (laugh) Dimaga is also... SaSe, I think he's really dangerous, been playing really well lately. There's a lot of amazing players, almost every good foreigner is here, so it's not going to be easy at all. R: I read a lot of comments, eh, fans, (t/n: He reads fans? ) on forums. They are often saying that you can play really well against someone that you're prepared a lot against before the games. Do you practice like that before, is it any difference, for leagues and such? (t/n: Question could've been better ) T: Well If I have a game that I can prepare for, If I know who I'm up against, I will prepare as good as I can. But it doesn't mean that I can't play when I haven't prepared (Looking into the camera, gives a hint) I played really well in MLG for example, died against MC though, he knocked me out, both in the winners and losers bracket, or in the group, I guess. But yeah, I can play really well against people when I'm unprepared as well. R: About the 9'th place in MLG. Was that OK? Was it the best you could do? (t/n: not in a disrespectful way) T: Well, if it wasn't for that Extended series-rule, I would've knocked out MC in the losers bracket, so I can't be too sad. But a 9th place, it's OK, it could've been better, but it could alsob been worse. There was a lot of good players there as well, so I'm satisfied. R: Are you going to continue with MLG, and are you going to the finals? T: I'm not completely sure if I should go to the remaining MLG's that aren't the final. Because, to be honest, it wasn't that great in terms of organization, as a player. So unless I'm seeded, I will probably not go to the next. R2: In what way was it bad? T: Huh? R2: (repeats) T: It was... Bad schedual, pretty disrespectful admins, you could barely go outside to eat, because then you risked getting DQd. No pauses either. R: Now you're back from MLG, you're at DH, how does MLG compare to DH? T: I was knocked out early last DH, so I didn't get to experience it that much. I was knocked out after 2-3 hours, but it was fun. R: So, you said that you're not going to MLG, but what is planned for you in the future? T: I'm going to Germany next week, for Homestory 3. Going to Spain in July, and Korea in August (!!!) R: Aaannd... Thanks for the interview! Do you have any finishing words? T: Naahh, well, I want to thank my fans, who are supporting me, and thanks to mouz, for sending me here, and my sposors; HoH.de, Razer, Geil, Intel medion, and sansibar R2: Perfect. R: Thanks a lot, good luck. T: Thanks for the interview.
