Wow, I just woke up and I must say I'm actually pretty disappointed, but ah well, he advances so I guess it's all good. After reading the last 10 pages though, it sounds like he lost vs some OP toss stuff, but who am I to say, haven't watched it (stupid european timezone ).
Speaking of watching it,
is there a place where it's archived?

It's not european timezone it's asian timezone =)

And the OP toss have a name: Elfi is one of the best european toss ( around top 5 imho ). And he is on a good shape lately ( doing good stuff on few weekly online tournaments )

So its not a same that Idra looses to him.

Yes, and I am in the european timezone.

I'm not saying Elfi isn't good btw, and I am not saying that toss is OP. I am saying that after reading the 10 pages it sounds like Elfi did some stuff that was op, and that IdrA was caught by it cause hydras are bad. That is what I got from reading about it - It's not my opinion cause I haven't seen the game.

I have barely heard anything about elfi from any major tournaments, so I do think it's a shame that a boss like IdrA, despite being in bad shape, loses to him :-)

Revival is definitely manageable. Strelok took a game from him and even though Strelok is a beast and has been in a good form recently, he is on the same level most top foreigners are. Revival is also 2-4 vs Zergs in the Korean Weekly, so he's about average for Korean standards.

Elfi is gooddd, though his multitasking is kind of poor, he usually plays a very solid passive protoss style. On a somewhat unrelated note, idra fightingggg!

i agree, plus idras zvz has always been solid due to his great micro and decision making, but ZvZ IS pretty volatile, anyone can win. IDRA HWAITING

i feel asleep before the jinro games, but glad to see that IdrA managed to get out the tiebreaker. I was getting excited when i read that Jinro needed to get 2-0'd and IdrA needed to 2-0 his opponent. lol.

ZvZ is not volatile. It's almost always the best matchup for top zerg players, if you look at their records.

In fact it's the probably the least volatile matchup for zerg.

Elfi won the games and good on him but I don't think the result was due to "OMG Elfi too good!". Idra agreed he kinda threw first game where he had a good lead, Elfi just did really standard Colossus/Blink Stalker but Idra was too late on his Infestor and Brood timings to make much use of them. Game two was Elfi doing some pretty gimmicky stuff, the 5 zealot+1 timing forced a few lings but didn't really do much damage and the subsequent Phoenix harrass into mass Zealot/Phoenix didn't work either so Elfi just gave up and went Colossus/Blink Stalker again for a kill. Felt like he should have won with his early pushes as Idra didn't get great scouts but he just didn't have it.

The phoenix harass did over 12000 resources worth of damage, supplyblocked IdrA constantly, forced tons of larva and money spent into overlords, and he constantly picked off random roaches and especially hydras---his phoenix almost never had energy. Not killing drones means little when what those drones are producing keep getting destroyed for no cost to the protoss. IdrA was also on three base to Elfi's three base for a long time. Don't delude yourself.

People participating in IdrA's faction for the MC event, go to the super secret site. I posted some semi-important stuff because the launch is now scheduled for tomorrow.

ZvZ is next? He should crush! GO IDRA!

If IdrA smoked weed, he'd be Greg Deals. (Is this right? =p)

In case anyone missed, an FPVOD featuring none other than our Greg facing off against EffOrt was posted in the BW-forums. Pretty fun to watch.
