Is anyone watching Aiura? I'm coming back from a 2-year hiatus from anime and despite everything this season looking like ass, I picked up Aiura because I'm a sucker for slice-of-life and/or 4koma-adaptations. I couldn't help but notice that the character designs are incredibly reminiscent of Ichigo Mashimaro. Problem being that in Ichigo Mashimaro the characters are supposed to be ~12yo, while the characters in Aiura are supposed to be, what, ~17? Doesn't help that the skirts in Aiura are short as fuck, and there's already been a few gratuitous low-angle shots focused on the skirts. Fucking Japan. At least the episodes are incredibly bite-sized. Hard to fuck up pacing in 3 minutes! I hope.
Are there any other shows this season that I should at least give the synopsis another chance?
edit: Are any of these good/okay?: Tamako Market / Kotoura-san / Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo

If you're looking to pick up on must-watches the past two years, then Space Brothers and Chihayafuru is what Id suggest.
Also, if you're a sucker for SOL then Tonari Kaibutsu might be a good watch for you too.

There was this anime released maybe 2-4 years back where it was about like assassins and shit. It was like modern day , not fantasy or anything and the opening episodes were like about him and this rigorous training regiment.
This series really changed if you compare the beginning style of the manga with the ending style. Going from pure romcom to battle manga was a surprise for me. Don't really know if I liked the ending though, but as you guys already warned me before I picked it up I didn't feel completely disappointed.
What were your thoughts on Negima? Also... Recommend me some moooore manga.

can someone tell me who shot reji? I looked at the edning like 10000x times, looked at background and stuff to determine evryones position at the shooting etc, and i still dont get it. From looking at backgrounds elen was facing away from reji the whole time + busy committing suicide by flower. But the driver could not have shot him cuz the cartridge from the bullet was too far from the road (he was driving on the right side aswell). Besides he passed elen earlier and did not shoot her. I thought it was elen after the first time and i rly liked that cuz it was kinda funny so i hope its ellen after all ^^.

Watch Shinsaki yori.
*Shinsekai Yori
My top last two years would be Mahou Shoujo Madoka, Shiki and Berserk Movies. But those aren't slice of life...

Btw I liked Phantom ending.
Wait it's really spelled like that? I've always been spelling it Shinesaki Yori or Shinsaki Yori, lol.
