the problem i have with it was how silly and pathetic (maybe not the best choice of words but something along those lines) the MC was when you really think about it. the whole story revolves around how he clings onto his childhood love and how those feelings affected his whole life mostly negatively.. but when you consider the thing he was clinging to was some childhood crush that he had when he was THIRTEEN its kinda silly (i dont even think 13 year olds even know wat love is).. its not like he was in a deep 5 year relationship or something like that meh, iono am i missing something? i mean wasnt the point of the movie to be 'realistic'? cuz if one of my friends was still being all depressed about some crush he had when he was a kid id smack him lol

I also miss those kinds of discussions. Now its just a shitstorm of CG, GC, and Eva.
Thanks for posting the original.

I fell in love with GC and i think main reason is the music used in the anime i´d never felt anything before when the music begins for example in ep.19. The only other animes, where music really was used well to accentuate the scene was Toradora or Clannad
I've been watching Sousei no Aquarion and I've got a question...wtf is with the animation in episode 19????? The animation was one the stronger points to the show

guilty crown, written by the same writers as code geass, i'm sure you'll love it. it's so intellectual. totally character driven, and you see Shoe (MC) rise from being a nobody, to a badass motherfucker!
Thalim90, I think you should refer to the recommendation chart at the top of the page. It'll give you quite a bit of anime that might interest you. The first thing you should look at is School Days, a very character driven piece.

i don't know the series, but it can only mean one of two things:
1) the release you have is shit (like from a streaming site) but why not the 18 previous episodes <.< 2) the budget ran out (like tetsuwan birdy decode... some scenes later in the series look like sketches -.-)
choose your pick, pick your choice.
unrelated i checked eureka seven ao, i did not watch the original one... and damn, now i might have to, bones certainly lures me in way too often with its shows and then gives shitty endings left and right with few exceptions -.-

School Days is one of my favorite animes, yesterday i recommend it to a friend who just finished SnS, ZnT and Toradora

Watch Eureka Seven it's amazing!! But to be fair I didn't think the ending was that strong so it's up to you. Also I did some looking into it and I guess they had a guest animator or something and he did everything in his style, seems weird but what ever.
If you set your standards really low then watching school days is fine imo. Just because it's bad doesn't mean you shouldn't watch it, if you watch it you can join the hate crowd and tell everyone they shouldn't watch it.
You can set your standards low and you'll enjoy School Days for the bloody finale. You can set your standards to pretentious and you'll just avert your eyes from School Days never to look back again. But if you set your standards to intelligent, you'll see School Days for what it is, a deep and intelligent deconstruction of an over-played genre. And did I mention intelligent?
Hi guys (and girls), I really hope you can help me with this animé that has been bugging me for 15 years. It's a very old one, from probably the 80s. As I recall it, there was this young kid who wanted to save his girlfriend or sister who was held by a big, big demon in castle. The young hero was about 8-9 years old and I remember that he was looking at pictures of the girl hoping to bring her back, or something and iirc he was living with his father.
Really appreciate if anyone has any clue to what this might be.
Anybody have a recommendation for me? The only anime I've really enjoyed was Claymore, but I also enjoyed Death Note for a while. I don't like robots x]
