Here is the real reason for the big change in animation for Aquarion ep19: They brought in a guest animator for that episode. From time to time, series bring in famous guest animators or directors to do a single episode here or there. Similar thing happened with Gurren Lagann episode... 3 or 4, I can't remember. But yeah, that episode was odd, to say the least. On May 10 2012 06:14 Maxie wrote: Pandora hearts (first half anime, rest manga): + Show Spoiler + Okay, I just feel like this is fucking amazing. Give me the next manga chapter now, dem plot twists... seriously, I'm loving this and I'm wishing the anime had followed the manga 100% and gotten more seasons. Sigh. Spice and wolf: + Show Spoiler + Quite enjoyable setting and I enjoyed the chemistry between the main characters. The merchant aspect was more exciting than I thought it would be. Jormungand ep5: + Show Spoiler + Nice with some backstory for Jonah. I can see this becoming very interesting later on considering the triangle that is Koko, Casper and Jonah, hah. Now then, time for Sousei no Aquarion... *crosses fingers for a non pathetic main char* The MC of Aquarion is anything other than pathetic. Hes crazy.

It really helps to know about the work of literature being referenced beforehand in terms of enjoyment and interest but not needed. ZNF has also read 3 of the 4 unless he recently got his hands on the newest one. They also make you see the movie in a different light because you see the true relationships between all the characters. It's a lot more interesting than the movie lets on. Nanase is amazing tsundere and I read all her lines in Nana's voice. Eagerly awaiting book 5 in July :D Also, you should watch the OVA's featuring each different heroine if you haven't already. Nanase is sooooo cute in hers but Touko was great as always too. Miu was...well, Miu. Haha Im no big Nana fan but I started my marathon (+ reread) this morning and I couldnt help but do the same. Then I remembered reading this. Although admittedly more the Nana as Tsubasa then whatever she did for Kotobuki in the movie (going to watch that by tonight probably) provided they were any different.

It was quite nasty (compared to KnS at least), especially the whole + Show Spoiler + transformation stuff and saya's "blooming" And no joke aboit it being more risque than other things I've read, lol. But I didn't mind as unlike most other stuff it actually contributed well to the story in this case. Edit: Screw Ryouko. So annoying.

He's a beast so far. I'm not bored by Sousei no Aquarion but for some odd reason I have the sudden urge to watch ep1-2 of EVOL. *shrug*

It looks like the next big thing is Kuroko no Basuke (at least according to the crazy jump in fan art posted over the last few days on Pixiv.) Not that I'm blaming anyone - for me there's always time for more sports anime. I love Kuroko no Basuke, i think its because i´m kinda in the same position as him. I also play basketball for my school and i really dont look like a good basketball player but then in the Games baaaam they get some in their face same as Kurokocchi does impress everyone when they play the first time against (or with) him. I searched for the manga and saw that there are more than 100 chapters out. I didnt want to spoiler myself cause i like how the anime is with the comedy and Kurokos behavior and i´m looking so forward for the next games they will play. But is it a 12 or 24 episode anime adaption ? If its only 12 episodes i think they can´t show everything . + Show Spoiler + Episode 5 and only the second player from the generation of miracles is introduced and they have to play the whole tournament I think too that there should be more sports anime. At the moment im very happy with Ginga e Kickoff,Kuroko no Basuke and Area no Kishi :D

Lol, okay, it's a little corny, and it was 6 years ago when I first saw it (holla back, young'n), but I loved the ending and I still do (re-watched it a couple months ago). I've seen other, better animes, but I think my emotional response to Eureka Seven's ending is still stronger than that of any other anime (series or movie, well, maybe not Grave of the Fireflies, but who wants to feel like that ever again.....).
