Actually I liked E7, also scrub coral reappearance in the world was 10 years ago, so there is a level of knowledge. He lives on Okinawa because after however many years people just lived by the information from the book? Even though we know that the human population was essentially united they just randomly divided into nations according to the book?
At the end of the show every central authority figure is dead. dewey, the 3 sages, and all of the military high command are dead, killed by dewey. So no I don't think it's implausible that they all divided into nations.

What's the point when the conclusion atm is that shit be fucked up and writers don't remember their own written settings?

Seems like Kaal disagrees with that assessment from what hes said. I missed the entire IRC conversation, so maybe he thinks differently now, I dunno.

He is going w/ the idea that it be 2k years later, I was open to that idea even though I thought it'd be somewhat lame and dumb from all the setting stuff so far. Only thing we agreed on is that it makes shit for sense if it happens within a few decades after E7.
While i see your point about ao being a possible AU Ecael they could still easily bring in the plot of first. Just too early to tell.
Another reason it could still be a squeal is this
This is the last shot we see of "earth" in the original as the scub is leaving. You can clearly make out japan and china being reviled as the scub crust goes away
The point isn't that they aren't there geographically - we know the geography has mostly stayed the same, the thing is that the technology level and the countries around it (China, Japan, Okinawa islands declared independence from iirc Japan in show). It isn't AU because Bones Pres said so. So...yeah.
Apparently it wasn't the writer of the original, all these inconsistencies would be explained pretty easily with that -.-

It's not the original writer, and that's probably why it's fucked.
At least, imo. Sato Dai doesn't write bad shit. Every series he's done has been either above average, great, or amazing.
Always love a Hina chapter. Oh Hayate...you had a sleeping Hina right in front of you too. Chiharu always seems to be around Hayate and his harem recently.

Hinaaaaaa! I've missed her. She had some hilarious faces this chapter. Seriously, Hayate? Why take her back to her bed when you can just sleep right next to her <3

Poor Lancer I seem to remember Saber telling Shirou about how Kiritsugu never said a word to Saber other than the 3 command spells, but it sure sounded like he was talking directly to Saber by the end there... Not that I'm complaining - it was awesome

Yup. All the way back in Chapter 300/301 when she finally returned from Greece and was planning with Athena to use the Shirozakura to return her to power.
Eureka Seven was fantastic. The new Euruka Ao is rather confusing though with only 2 episodes out make it hard to judge yet. It pains my heart to think that after Eureka went through all that shit in the original series she still didn't get a happy ever after yet and instead got abducted.
well the majority of this ep was boring teases and lots of time skips. So many chances to see something epic but nothing interesting except for Koromo moe hehe (and that was stupidly short too). Then the ending made it all worth it LOOOOOOL. Saki the rinshan kaihou user!!! Evil eye with lightning bolts hahaha how I've missed this stuff. So now the rest of the series is these girls getting raped by monsters right? As long as I get to see some epic MJ action with supernatural effects I'll be happy.
Also, this entire main cast is boring. Only girl I kinda care for is the one voiced by Kana Hanazawa and I don't even think the voice fits lol
edit: Nagisama, in the case that your animelo torrent is still being as slow as a rock

All that hype about Bansei being the best school in their prefecture and they got disposed of within the first ten minutes. The pacing is ridiculous. We went from the prefecture tournament to training camp to Nationals in one episode.
Saki is godlike. Shizu declares that she has to beat Saki. Defeating the titular character? Good luck with that! Not gonna happen.
