Although I disagree with many opinions in this thread, it is nice when people are civil about their disagreements and don't resort to name calling. It makes for a much more interesting and enjoyable reading experience. It would be dull if everyone always agreed with each other. Plus most of the stuff people argue about are not objective facts but their opinions of: 1) what went unsaid or 2) what will happen next. It is pretty hard to predict stuff but also pretty enjoyable to try and think of how things will turn out in the manga. DD and Law knew each other ten years ago (I think people were disagreeing on this point). | ||

I recieved one warning for caps lock and one warning for overuse of bold text. has nothing to do with the content of the posts. on the other hand i recieved about 9-10PMs from people telling me not to mind forik because most people ignore his posts because he is a known baiter/troll. and lots of heads up. i dont think hes a troll though, and im not insulting nor raging, im trying to be straight to the point and pinpoint the issues so forik can understand what people take issue with. this might seem passive agressive but if you were stuck debating with someone who constantly backtracks his statements to make it sound like he was saying something he originally wasnt, you would get just as frustrated. the one where he asked me for evidence regarding my statement about law and DD having some sort of history and i kindly post and example, and he backtracked to "i asked for evidence that DD raised law as a child" wich 1. i never said 2. he didnt ask for is enough to prove how frustrating it is to try to maintain a discussion with a guy like that. and the marineford example. Someone mentioned that the marines arent really good guys since they were going to leave their wounded just to murder every retreating pirate alive, despite that they already surrendered. He replies by claiming that the marines themselves ultimately took a second to think about it and decided to stop, when everyone knows that it stopped because shanks got in the way and ordered them to stop or they would have to fight another yonkou that day. Now even after this has been pointed out he tries to attribute the end of the war to "marines letting cooler heads prevail" wich is bullshit and is just ignoring facts to help support his claims. how can it be attributed to cooler heads when shanks crew was literary blocking their way and told them that they would have to fight throught them first, and the marines didnt have enough power left to fight another yonkou after WB and their clash with soon-to-be yonkou blackbeard pirates. The Marine still wanted the remains of the WB pirates dead and if shanks didnt show up they would have kept the onlslaught, but hes acting like shanks intervention has nothing to do with it and the only reason being that marines are noble enought to spare so many lives.. | ||

Yeah, I can make up random theories like Doflamingo is actually a Tenryuubito, back it up with some random pages, but at the end of the day, it just an idea, it can never be validiated or unvalidiated, and I wouldn't make the last 10 frigging pages unreadable. | ||

Especially if you're all so much smarter than him, you should be able to notice that he tends to phrase his opinions clumsy or imprecise. If you read carefully, you will notice multiple posts of people actually agreeing with Forikorder's side of the argument. If you sink to attacking how he phrased his arguments rather than the arguments themselves, maybe, just maybe, you only keep arguing against him because he has a bad reputation. (Yes, I'm late with this. I was curious to what extents people would go to "battle" Forikorder) | ||
