From those like HBO game of throne animated, slide shows iirc it was basically like, valaira were just orginally really smart/advanced and w/e and they also had magic, which then they used to tame dragons right? (also explains why dannys dragons are out of control) and then i guess they discovered some how that dragon fire could be used instead of regular fire in forges??? + magic = valarain swords, that also gives credit to the theory someone said in here that the end game would be to have dragons vs the whitewalkers (also anyone else notice the lack of ranged/siege weapons, i guess throwing masses amount of bodies has been working pretty well so far why change) but so then all the valarains randomly die, except for a few some, who then get on the remaining dragons and conquer westros. Theres so much history i wish they would explain, they're doing a pretty good job with the mini clips after every season but still i wish they went into it more in the show i wouldnt even mind a whole ep just explaining everything in the past. I personally didnt really feel like the cersi scenes needed to be in there, i mean for this ep like they kept showing how shes losing her pride but nothing really came of it from the ep, i guess its a setup but we probably could assume her situation from what we saw margery experience. I have one big question tho was that the entire wildling army? if so they're super fucked (i guess jon brought enough boats for everything, either that or they planned to make multiple trips but i doubt half the boats are filled) also where were the giants there was only one (i understand for budgeting probably) but couldnt they have at least shown some blury background giants just running away? now theres only one left??? and how the fuck is he gonna get on a boat edit: the nights watch dont know how they originally defeated the whitewalkers like ages ago right? i remember an ep where sam was looking through books for an answer also makes me wonder too because short of the entire nights watch having valairan steel i dont really see how they could have defended, the snowball effect on crow deaths would be too much, as long as u have one zombie kill a human u could just resurrect him much later on. Anyone else think that was an avalanche instead of the whitewalker fore coming, also after they showed it was like a zombie cloud i thought everyone in the cloud just autodies like the mist kills them or something but i guess thats not true because later on the walls break and the mist gets in (also how would walls stop mist) and everyone seems to be fine Yes the Valyrians were quite advanced. This goes with the steel as well, currently no one can reproduce it, they can just reforge it (see the reforging of Neds huge ass Valyrian steel sword into 2 'regular' sized ones) and the show has painted it to be extremely rare and prized. Dragon glass is obsidion iirc, don't quite recall if the show says its made from dragon fire or anything but from what I can remember it isn't extremely rare (again I reference the Tywin talking about there is loads of it in some place, Dragonstone I believe). In the show the mythos around the white walkers isn't explained too much but I found out quite a bit about from alternate sources (not the books - havent read them). But even from the show only I think its safe to deduce that the white walkers have fought 'man' before (the 'first men' as the show refers to them), but that it was quite a long time ago and that it was so long ago that for most of the GoT worlds they are a myth (no one south of the wall beleived in any of that sort of thing, aside from the nightwatchmen who saw them / stannis and melisandra who seen them in visions). So we know the whitewalkers are old, as old or older than the race of men in the GoT world, and we know they have fought before. We also know that dragonglass was buried at the Fist of the first Men and that whoever buried it, wanted it to be found. The giants in the show have always been few, and sort of explained (when we are first introduced or when we see them in the army it is made clear that the giants we see are the last remaining bloodline of giants). He can't fit on the little ass boats but thoser are just ferrying people to the actual galleys or whatever type of bigger boats they got, he can probably fit on deck (though would take up most of it :D). But yeah the giant was awesome and I hope we see more of him. We aren't entirely sure how many wildlings/people north of the wall are left, but it did seem like the location we saw today was the biggest population (its where the wildling dude told Jon they needed to go to recruit the wildlings. saying most would be there). But its been hinted at all along that the whights/walkers are doing quite the number on the populations north of the wall so I think we can assume that there aren't that many, at least not as many as most people south of the wall would think since they are oblivious to the goings on. He was the one was standing with the other whitewalkers when the baby from crasters was brought to them and he was the one who touched the baby and seemingly turned it into a walker as well (which was interesting because so far we assume that people that are killed just turn into whights/zombies, and that the actual whitewalker population is quite low). Which seems to me might be the only way to get new whitewalkers? I just assume that since there seem to be so few and since they needed to take generations of male babies. Again though I quite liked this episode, we knew the walkers were powerful before but this episode confirmed it even more.

And then there is the question: Pride or health? I thought Cerseis pride always wins. Edit: I wouldn´t advise licking water from a dungeon floor either ...

the end scene was so well done... watching that scene and comparing it with the 'sand' arc is so weird. It's like, how is it the same show? lol

@Shock710 I thought dragon glass was obsidian. It seems to be fairly common like they could get a lot of it if they wanted. The giant is so badass lmao.

- Good too see Tyrion playin it good - Kinda siding on Cersei than those religious freaks - Hyped on what Ramsay will do, some navy seal mission or something - North scene is really nicee, Jon fucking Snow getting more awesome each ep. Also kinda curious, is the undead bite will make you undead too or you need to die first right? getting bitten but if you survive is alright?. And wondering why the girl wildling didn't try to fight off those ugly kids, maybe its her children or something or she just lost hope. I was hoping for her to be a char too sad T.T. - Valyrian Steel Master Race

It's like, how is it the same show? lol In my humble opinion the timing was way too convenient in this episode. Get there, talk a bit, oh and randomly the white walker army appears at that exact moment. Like, really? Felt like watching sand snakes 2.0, but this time with a giant to make it less cheesy and more amusing.
