Relax, I don't think even book readers know for sure.
In episode 1, season 1, we learn that both the fat king and Eddard both really cared about Eddard's sister.
...why do i get the feeling the jon snow plot line has now been spoiled.... i dont see how we got any extra clues this season and suddenly this convo pops up (i dont think u can count the look from the firelady cause at first i was like oooh shit kings blood king of the north ned stark...but now with all this stuff about it being robert and ned's sister...making him an actual kings blood person...god damn)

as someone who has watched season 1-3 several times through i think this the conclusion to come to given everything we know about robert, ned and basically the revolution that takes place before s1

This. Speculating about Jon is perfectly fine. Nothing can be spoiled. Editted stuff cause I'm scared lol.

Seems like as good a time as any to remind people: telling us what does NOT happen in the books is as big a spoiler as telling us what does.
Can anyone tell me what those skeleton army of darkness things were? Just another new creature or a different form of walker? Meera killed her brother im assuming to not have him turn?

HBO history youtube videos. The family is completely irrelevant though, it was just about "Game of Thrones doesn't use genetics/Targaryen looks must appear in the child of Targaryen". The fact that the Targaryens were incestuous has been mentioned numerous times in the show, especially as justification of Cersei and Jaime's relationship. And no, I have never touched one of the books.
Jesus Christ. I'm pretty sure fuck this chat now. Even if all speculation has been harmless since the beginning, it has taken away nearly all of the surprises, deaths, and turning points in all 4 seasons because hundreds of people in this thread have already thought everything up before it happens. Even aside from book readers and their "speculations," every event/scene/whatever is broken down so hard that the fun of the surprises doesn't even shock or grab me now.
I am done with this chat, especially because now that the season is over, we aren't talking about each episode anymore. We're only talking about what will happen next season. I am not going to let my curiosity about GoT keep me from experiencing the show completely unadulterated by being victim to knowing all of the possible outcomes of everything happening next year.
There is only one Game of Thrones, and there will only BE one in our lifetime. It's already half over and I'm not going to allow TL forums or anything else on the Internet ruin what a great masterpiece and experience Game of Thrones can and will be for me any longer! Stand with me!!

It could be worse. The "speculation" that Olenna was behind the poisoning and that Oberyn would be Tyrion's champion turned out to be correct. On the other hand, I had no idea that Joffrey, Oberyn or Tywin would die. Discussing how people think things might develop in the future is part of the fun. Sadly, there are some book readers with a need to look smart by making correct "predictions". But this thread is as well moderated as any and you'll hardly find a better place to discuss the show spoiler-free.
