1. Good job leaving Rachel at the altar, asshole. You expect her parents to forgive you for that now too? 2. How the hell did literally everyone leave PSL already? They're all just... gone? wtf? 3. While the obvious cliffhangers are What will become of PSL and Will Rachel wait for Mike, I don't feel like "omg I can't wait until summer for Suits to come back" for some reason. The last ~3 scenes were just meh for me (after Mike punched Harvey).

I mean, you have to assume they wouldn't be planning a new season if the above were true, but it seems to me like they made zero effort to make the viewer interested in next season. No more "Suits" either way.

The firm is gone, Jessica, Harvey, and Louis are ruined, Mike spends two years in prison, etc. Perhaps everyone moves on to find happiness, but that's a different show. No more Suits either way. Agreed, unfortunately. A huge letdown compared to last week's episode imo. I'm just banking on the belief that a season in jail worked for House, so maybe it'll work for Suits. ::shrugs::

But don't worry, I only humiliated her in front of the three managing partners of her firm." 2. There must be a blooper where Louis answers "it's lunch time, Jessica. They'll be back in a half hour". 3. Totally agree. But breaking the 4th wall, they clearly wrote this with closing the show in mind. It was only after the season started last summer that Suits was renewed for another season. USA Network has never had a show last longer than 7 seasons (Burn Notice) and the writer for Suits is doing Mr Robot too. The writer also seems to want to reinvent the show with Mike doing his thing in prison rather than going back to vanilla corporate mergers.

Rachel: I'm pregnant, Mike. I felt so uninterested in the show after the part where he took the deal. Just knew that the verdict was gonna be not guilty and then side drama. Turns out, Gibbs is not a villain with some personal vendetta. She's just Lawful Neutral in D&D terms lol...

Suits 2 - Leaked trailer script *25 years later* Mike Ross Jr: "Hi I'm here for my interview to Harvard" Sheila Sazz: "I'm sorry Mike, but your father tainted the name of Harvard Law and while you have an impressive resume, there's no way in hell I'm letting you in". /scene Random old man on the street: "Lose that hoodie it makes you look like a douche Mike" Mike Ross Jr: "Who are you? And how the hell do you know my name?" *Old man removes shades* Harvey Specter: "The name is Specter, and I've been waiting for you, son" In all seriousness, i think the finale was a let down ... but maybe they can't come up with a better way to end the season so they went with the safer approach: Mike goes to jail, things cool down a bit and open doors for more opportunities to develop the story.

the only way to make the last season even remotely close to what theyve been doing the entire series, would be to base the plot around how PSL becomes a powerhouse once again after just being razed to the ground, with mike and harvey being central figures through all this. thats gonna be lame

also @1. yeah, Mike was an @ss all season long, luckily at least Rachel tries to stay together. @2. For effect I think. Not sure if its that way in the States, but here work contracts expire at the end of a month. Well, unless Zane spent extra money to poach them out of the existing contracts early (?). Also all being gone is more dramatical, even losing 20-30% of your workforce at once would cripple you, but it would not look that "good" on screen if 3/4 of places were still occupied. oh, and lol@Jessica being a good leader - in real life you try to plan ahead, e.g. try to find out who is staying beforehand. @3. Well, there was enough time to change the script, just changing the last episode would have been enogh to get another cliffhanger. @speculation: Well, perhaps we'll see a time skip - 2 years into the future, Mike is back and completed his lawyer degree in prison, while SPL rebuilt the firm. Mix in the stardard drama of old employees wanting to come back, SPL taking revenge @Robert Zane and/or Rachel being unfaithful and voila! new season of suits is ready :D
