AND THAT I'M TRYING TO BE SUPPORTIVE AND KEEP A BRAVE FACE, THAT I COULD LOSE YOU RACHEL. SO I UNDERSTAND YOU WANTING TO BE HERE BUT I DON'T UNDERSTAND YOU NOT WANTING TO BE WITH ME!" ME ME ME ME ME. Mike: "What was she talking about?" Rachel: "She countered my offer." Mike: "How long?" Rachel: "Mike..." Mike: "How long?" Rachel: "Two years." Mike: "No, Rachel. No. You can't." Rachel: "Do you know how much time I'm facing? Seven years." Mike: "I saw you up there, you were amazing, you were the same brilliant woman I fell in love with." Rachel: "Mike, the jury is not in love with me. What if all that they saw was a fraud?" Mike: "Is that why you want to go to prison? Because what, you want to punish yourself and that's your only way to stop feeling guilty?" Rachel: "Yes, maybe that's a part of that. It's the only way I can make sure that the only person who is hurt by it is me." Mike: "WHAT ABOUT ME? BECAUSE ALL I DID WAS LOVE YOU! AND IF YOU TAKE SOME DEAL THAT SENDS YOU TO PRISON!" I think it was left purposely ambiguous as a cliff hanger. Of course, Harvey's attendance might change things if Mike hasn't already signed his deal. I'm trying to think what would make a great last scene/ verdict for the season finale. Either Mike or Harvey going to prison (for just a year or so) would be pretty good, where next season could pick up at the end of that jail sentence. We could see any fallout that occurred at the firm through flashbacks, since they like doing flashbacks. Or maybe in prison, Mike still consults with the law firm somehow, just like how in White Collar, Neal Caffrey became a consultant for the FBI while in jail (and was released into the hands of the FBI). I don't know, but if the season finale is even better than this last episode, then that would be incredible. | ||
