Probably another explanation though. At the very least, I think Amon is a bender, otherwise how the hell would he learn to spirit bend?

There's only been 3 eps and barely enough reason for Korra to do avatar state, so how do you know she can't do it?

When Tarrlok mentioned 42 years ago about another problem with this Yakon (sp?), Aang had to deal with him. And then Korra has a flashback scene of what seems to be Aang fighting some guy. Maybe this Yakon guy is back for revenge?

Interesting to see a real motive behind a villain not assasinating the protagonist even if she is in reach.

To be frank there's too many of those 'evil guy captures hero, doesn't grab his oppertunity but instead brags about his plan first' scenes in other cartoons. This one made a lot more sense than most of them combined

What really bothers me is the stupid Nickelodeon crap that pops up in the middle of the show. That pop-up about the website, covering a fourth of the screen... What were they thinking? I hate it. Not to mention the huge and obtrusive (bright orange) logos.

It's such a great show already. If only I could wait for the dvds. :p

wow i liked the episode. it added lots of drama. Just feels like its gonna be epic. anyways i wished all the episodes were out already. i remember hearing good things about avatar the last airbender and just watched all through the seasons and just couldnt stop til the ending.

Also it's pretty clear there's a love quadrangle developing. Like how the developers are listening to feedback as far as I can tell on their episodes but I don't think they should follow general opinion too much if it ends up making the story too convoluted.
