or do you think they somehow skip time or hank gets well very quickly due to unbelieveable will power? Not saying there isnt another option but hank not being the main person on the persuit would kinda suck imo

Everyone in the operation -- Jesse, Walt, Mike, and Gus -- is now a murderer. They're all in way too deep. And anyone that fucks up or puts someone else at risk is either going to have to kill or be killed. All Gus did was reinforce the precedent Walt sent by killing Gale. It no longer matters how blameless, innocent or trustworthy you are. It's a dog-eat-dog world they're in now. Even though Jesse was initially racked with guilt, after watching Gus murder Victor, he absolutely knew he made the right decision by killing Gale.

I wasn't entirely sure why Gus would kill victor but my initial reaction was that he did it either because of that scene where Victor admitted to being seen at the crime scene, or because he didn't get to Gail in time to save him

But now the consequences for these normally forgivable flaws are more extreme. Last season, Gus was willing to spare Jesse, even those he was conspiring to kill two of his dealers. After Walt killed Gale, who's only fault was being a good chemist, Walt threw any morality or goodwill that was left in the situation out the window. Now it's a matter of who kills who first. SHIT JUST GOT REAL, SON! Fuck this show is so well-written.

In the crime world mistakes are not taken lightly and usually results in your life ending. Anyway the episode was decent. I've been so excited for this series to start up again. I can't wait to see where the season takes us. I'm not sure what's going to happen and I love it haha.

Good episode. Not quite the suspense-level of the end of season 3, but on a good way. Lab scene was great, though a little bit predictable. I like that the whole episode consisted only some few, very long scenes. Definately added to the suspense.

He didnt reinforce a precedent set by Walt, the precedent already existed long before Walt got into the business. All he did was open up Walt and Jesse's eyes to the savagery of the Drug business, and that everyone in it has to be that way. Even supposedly calm, rational, civilized Gus. Victor's mistakes werent forgivable, thats the thing.I agree, Victor being seen at the scene is technically 'the reason.' SHIT JUST GOT REAL, SON! Fuck this show is so well-written. edit: he was willing to spare Jesse because the dealers were minor and due to his connection to the extremely profitable Walt. It all comes down to cost vs risk.
