Hes in too deep to stop now, especially now that gus is out of the picture. He still has to pay a ton of bills and he makes the best crystal in the state. Walter has changed, I don't see him leaving the drug business unless he dies.

Ok Lets get some crazy Next Season calls out there
1. Season will be Walt vs Jessie,
1a. Walt goes full Keiser Sosa in the season and kills everyone including his family and ends up as the worst villan we have seen. I'm guessing Hank figures out Walt is invoved Walts kills him to keep him quiet Skyler next as she goes nuts over Hank being killed etc..
1b. Walt is killed in the end by Jessie, right before this Walt sees all the evil he has done and what he has become, wants Jessie to kill him, Maybe Skyler takes over the family business
Will there be a reaction to the killing of Gus from some outside party? What role will Mike play in the season ....
I just can't wait!!

Hmm. Hank's character arc rather seemed to have finished.

I think someone already said it on these forums, but in that flashback where Gus first started getting involved with the Cartel, he was spared because the Don knew his family, or knew who he was, or something along those lines. If your family is powerful enough to make you immune to being killed by the Mexican Cartel, I think you have a pretty powerful family; and I think that that family will want to know who killed their son/cousin/whatever.

The origin, timing and professional respect afforded to Gus from Don Eladio rather suggests he was an ex-CNI officer, finding himself a new home (and safety from reprisals) after Pinochet lost power.
I doubt anyone cares about Gus. However, in the drug trade, they care a LOT about lost profit.
