Gus severed his ties with the mexican drug lords with Mike's help. If mike and walter were to go to the mexican cartels and present this, they could have their backing in taking down Gus. Mike knows that walter, while not afraid to kill, wouldn't just randomly kill a man to make a point. Might make a better boss than gus ![]() I don't think i'd go as far as Walt wanting help from Mexican cartels any time soon - but Mike defecting after seeing what Gus is capable of could very well happen too he did look shocked/freaked afterwards, so who knows which way his character will go if it comes to a serious decision making point.

This show is prob the finest I've ever seen, next to the early seasons of Dexter, that have such a ridiculous amount of tension in them. When Gus comes down and doesn't say a word, and just puts on the suit and gets out the box cutter, it's such an amazing on the edge of your seat feeling. God this show is good at that.

I kept expecting Jeese to fall and hurt himself in that episode, and Walt almost let it slip that he let his g/f die. It was sorta weird but still definitely had it's moments.

He's prob freaked out that Walter is missing, maybe dead, so he may be getting the hell out of dodge. He always seems to at least think he knows what's going on, so I'd bet he thinks Walter is fucked and is just trying to cut and run at this point.

God I love Breaking Bad. EDIT: Also great last scene, what would Breaking Bad be without Walt lying to Scyler, and her knowing it.

Best show on t.v., there's no disputing that anymore.

Both this season and the last season start off with Jesse just experiencing trauma (Jane dying and Killing Gale). I'm surprised he didn't react the same way because depressed lethargic Jesse has been done enough already. Now it looks like his brain has overloaded and he is able to block everything out, which means he is capable of a lot more, such as eating breakfast after dissolving a body in acid. Best show on t.v., there's no disputing that anymore. I saw it as more like a moment of clarity. He understood the position he is in now when Gus killed the other "replacement" cook that was spying on them too during last season. So why not eat. It's a pretty good day when you have no competition.

Walter overreacted when Gus cut the guys throat? It was unexpected, yes. But given the environment they were in the whole thing should have been good news for them... so why was Walter so shocked? I mean he ran people over with his car, and killed the run-over-ees in cold blood. I don't get it.

She was sleeping on her side, so vomiting wouldn't have killed her. Walt rolled her over, and then watched her die. Its not just his inaction that killed her. I don't get it. + Show Spoiler + Walter has always been able to justify everything he does, while not accepting things other people have done. He sees himself almost as above everyone else, and so he can rationalize murder himself, but when others do it they are obviously evil.
