+ Show Spoiler + Negan... since Glenn picked up a baseball bat in this episode, houses in the community looked like they were bombed, some of the zombies have markings on their foreheads, the wall looked like it was rammed into, etc

Weak way for Tyresse to go out. He's been one of the raiders for how long? Seems like he should know by now to at least clear the room, if not the house before getting complacently lost in a photograph... I haven't read the comics, but from what I gathered from when Tyresse first appeared in the show, he's one of the more beloved characters. So I take it the show didn't do him justice, as I don't feel his development was well done at all. The build up to the death would've been perfect if used on a more powerful character. I just felt like they kinda ham-fisted a bunch of deceased characters in there for a guy who barely had a connection with the majority of them. I swear I must've seen Tyresse have like one conversation with the governor... That death seemed much more suited for someone like Carol,Daryl, or perhaps even Michone. 4/10 premiere. Gains a few points for the neat twist. I totally thought the grave was for Beth at the beginning.

Terrible episode, just awful. Tyrese gets bit and IMMEDIATELY goes insane, then promptly dies. Meanwhile, everyone else gives an update on their emotional status. A low point for the show.

W = wolves , there are wolves references appearing on this episode and the next one too , also I think the scavengers used wolves or animals to attack in the comic. Btw David Morrissey was awesome as always ![]()

The screenwriters are crap, they need to be fired instantly. I think I am going to go back to comics and finish reading them and forget about this terrible show. No Beth's death made less sense. Beth threw away her life by exacting revenge when it was already given that she was going back to the group. She knew, that at that point, that would've been death, and she did it anyway. Pretty much suicide for no good reason. Tyreese's death is actually very rational, because it shows that solidified characters can get killed off easily by random zombie encounters. And it shows that no one is safe because 1 second of not focusing can lead to quick death. It also shows that amputation doesn't always save the person.

Beth's attempt to kill Dawn has nothing to do with revenge or getting back to the group; it is doing something right by killing the person who has systematically turned the entire place into a society that isn't based on trust but on who has utility and who is more manipulative. After all, she wanted to kill the doctor too when she was used in order to keep himself alive. Beth wouldn't have stopped and turned around for Dawn had she not mentioned Noah, and that action epitomizes why the hospital was so rotten. I actually agreed with what Beth wanted to do, and obviously dying wasn't part of the plan but shit happens.

It is just another Ninja zombie moment that kills the show. And he died because of loss of blood, amputation or not has nothing to do with it.

The "ninja zombie moment" might not seem like a kill that has a purpose on the surface, but if you think about it, it shows to reassure us that many important characters on the show can be killed off by a stray random zombie, even in seemingly safe places, at any moment, by a few seconds of lack of concentration. You might not like it, but it's actually not bad. It makes the show seem way more realistic. Not every important character has to have a glorified major drama-build up death. Beth's death, on the other hand, was just purely illogical on her part (anyone would've known they would get shot for doing that), and revenge for Noah was only built up for a very brief amount of time.
