I remember, for example, tournaments such as G-League, G-1 League, and WPC that were not completely terrible and which were definitely without constant problems of this level. Sure, there were bad Chinese tournaments in the old days, too, and always there were internet issues. But none of them were as bad as the recent run of events, especially the bigger events. You have to wonder: what exactly happened? The competent organizers such as the ones behind WPC and G-1 League appear to have all pulled out of Chinese Dota - and from the looks of it, League of Legends too because I don't remember seeing them there. The whole scene has been replaced by "production" companies that do a poor job of actually running tournaments, except for MarsTV which actually tries, but they're basically alone. And around the same time we saw Chinese teams all go to shit, not only limited to Dota 2 but to League of Legends, as well. I've come to believe, now, that this is not just a random combination of poor events and performances. Chinese eSports has actually gone to shit across the board in the last two years and, though I don't yet know the explanation, I have a feeling it has to do with the organizations behind the scene, and especially the rich kids who bought out all the teams and companies. Not sure yet what the exact cause is, but I think I'm starting to understand. Well, china has been having some rough economic stuff happening, especially in the past few months. Basically, there's a bunch of reasons http://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/2016-changing-chinese-economy/ Also some of those more well-run tournaments had major issues actually paying prizes.

Thus the start time for the event being 1h ago is wrong information is what it seems like to me. the start time in the calendar isnt that dynamic. it's been set on what schedule was given beforehand. hard to control the changes
