There's way more than just one person on the team becoming raid boss. They still need to not have bad positioning as a team. They still need to execute as a team. The game was still very close at the end, and could go either way.
It's very easy to blame Arteezy for not BKBing and getting evaporated by Eblade + Lion, because it seems like such an rookie mistake. But nobody blamed Universe for getting chain CC (silenced by ES then hexed by Lion), which basically took him out for the first half of the teamfight.
Instead of using Chrono to get rapier back from Lion (the Chrono actually missed Lion), I wonder if he could have used it to trap Morphling+Enchantress, allowing Lina and Dazzle to escape and defend their T4. Not sure if it would have matter in the end since Arteezy is without buyback.

What's this NA "scene" anyways? There is 1 EG, and that's it. Chinese aren't flaming NA scene, they're flaming Sumail specifically because of his shit attitude and arrogance. You didn't see the same arrogance from Navi/IG/A/Newbee Ti1-4. Suddenly NA/EG/Sumail had a good season and you see what he did? Compare his behavior with the rest of the TI winners and you'll see why people hate on him.
One more thing, on the Chinese stream, everyone was shouting "EZ", "EZ gaming(EG)"throughout the finals to taunt Sumail, and it was only changed to chants of Ehome after Ehome 3-0ed EG. Expect a even more hostile environment at Shanghai. People are already planning all these on Chinese forums. I wonder how much mental resilience our 16yo boy has GLHF in Shanghai Sumail.

People already took Sumail's tweet and sent them to relevant authorities in order to prevent Sumail from getting a visa to China for Shanghai Majors. For EG and Sumail's sake I hope whatever visa they got for MDL was multi-journey and valid till Shanghai Major

Well imagine a normal traveler tweets "fuck USA" right before coming to USA for school/business/whatever, and someone really does report it to the immigration and customs with evidence, what you think happens?
And yes, the whole shitshow was a clownfest, but guess what started it? LOL you talk shit you expect hit simple as that.
IF and I mean only if sumail really gets denied entry, I am actually looking forward to ZAI standin for EG, RTZ move back to mid and Fear 1, would be a much better version of EG.

No, people don't need to grow a thicker skin; people need to learn some cultural sensitivity. Respect is a big deal in Chinese culture, also China in many ways is a rival of the US outside of DotA as well as in the game. When your rival team comes to your hometown then proceeds to talk shit to the local crowd... you seriously can't expect them to be met with anything but this kind of stuff. Like, if this was football or something EG would probably be having shit thrown at them on the way out.
He's a kid is a lame excuse because the kid is surrounded by grown up people, who should really be doing a better job of explaining to him what's ok and what is not ok to do. You've got a million eyes on you, you can't expect to say shit like 'F*** China' in front of them and not get a reaction out of it.

edit: there is a difference between taking typical fan actions against a team or player like booing or ridicule them with chants and actively trying to damage the players/teams career. i hope we see more of the first in the future because it creates amazing atmospheres and sometimes super funny stuff but a fan should never do anything outside the stadium.

i would go even further here and say that if the combination of fan stupidity and authority stupidity leads to a tournament being less valuable, the country should not hold a tournament again.
usually bureaucracy helps to prevent stupid people affecting too much and i assume it will be the same in this case, but this is an action that has no positive outcome and only negative consequences for the chinese scene and its completely beyond me how any fan can even remotely support it.
its like throwing things on the playing field. it doesnt help anyone and in the worst case your team gets a default loss for it. fans should beat up those idiots who try to sabotage their own teams.

We see similar behavior from bad fans all the time from EPL away games...fact remains that Sumail really brought this on himself. Why even give anyone an excuse in the first place...? All he had to do was to behave himself and none of this clownfest would have happened.

How so? What has any Non-USA player said/done to prevent them getting a visa to the States, based on their behavior both online and IRL?
And again, if it really does happen(visa getting denied), how can you blame the Chinese fans/Immigration officer? Put yourself in the shoes of the Visa officer handling Sumail's visa request, yourself being a Chinese, and someone shows you the evidence of Sumail tweeting "f**k China", you'd have every right to deny the visa application.
