Kudos to Valve for putting on such an amazing event, and to all the teams for producing some great games. Congratulations to iG - they were strong and solid throughout the entire tournament, and most importantly, they knew how to adapt, which is something the other Chinese teams lacked a bit. They may not have been as flashy as Na'Vi, but that doesn't win money in the end.

I can't remember any tournament with as much pressure (much more than the first international) and oh my god moments. Whoo. Tough one. It's definitely up there. In terms of individual games, I don't think there was anything to approach Team BG over AEON.sg from ESWC 2010. That game was so completely unexpected that I don't think it will ever be topped. LGD/iG Game 1 in the LB Finals was just as good as Nirvana.MY beating EHOME in the finals of ESTC or DTS over EHOME in the group stage of WDC, and those were classic games. There wasn't anything as epic as the fnatic/MYM mass-necronomicon game or Online Kingdom coming back from mega creeps to win EEDC, but that's what happens when the skill levels get higher. There are fewer mistakes to create epic comebacks. Edit: The mega creep comeback game was EnRo against Os|One not OK over MYM in EEDC. Bad memory!

Such an amazing tournament. I can't think of anything that has come close. Maybe TSL3.

i mean...although i wasnt watching every match everyday (i mostly watched Na'Vi matches), F5 this page for all the reactions after every combats and share the feelings...but really this tournament gave me a lot of emotions following Navi and their great plays (other teams did a good job too, esp our champions iG)...now knowing everything will be back to normal, it's kinda sad and a lil bit lost...

I can't remember any tournament with as much pressure (much more than the first international) and oh my god moments. No single tournament, no, though in terms of plays there are plays that rank up there with what happened here. East vs. West was and is the greatest match up, I think, in eSports. Whether East is China, Korea, Japan, SEA. Whether West is NA, EU, CIS. The single greatest play in Dota 1 for a East vs. West match up was performed by DTS - from which Dendi came - against Ehome 2010 in WDC 2010. Go watch that. It was the equivalent of what Na'Vi pulled out against iG in Game 2. I'd say it was far more impressive than that. Dota 1 cast by Tobi.
