I can respect that, I just can't get excited over it. They average the most kills in the tournament... So they play defensive? This makes or does not make sense to you?
It's not hard to get the most kills/the most gpm/the most everything when you have only dropped 1 match the whole tournamnet.

Seems crazy that Alliance can lose the championship in 3 games, instead of losing 6...

Ugh tongfu, DK BANNED DARKSEER FOR A REASON. ;;;;

So many people on the broadcast sound sick. Bring hand sanitizers and EmergenC or Airborne with yourselves when you travel you noob travelers.

They have dropped a set yet. Yeah, we don't have that starcraft bullshit in dota, it's a single bo5. lol ''starcraft bullshit'' = the standard way to run a double elimination tournament I've seen some pretty sick FGC matches that would be possible without the "starcraft BS" Plus, it's called double elimination for a reason... Exactly I meant wouldn't, not would i knew what you meant :p the second bit made it clear Hahaha yes.
Still think if you are gonna call it double elimination, make it so that everyone, including the winners bracket winners, can drop one series

Too bad it doesn't really work now, considering how a lot of anti-push has been added to the game since then. I wouldn't say anti-push I'd say many buffs to a lot of heroes overall. Na'Vi desperately needed....(inb4 shitstorm) LighTofHeaveN... I think that his experience would have been huge in this kind of situations. the addition to kotl in the hero pool is significant, given he's the very definition of anti pushing.

Like obviously anything can happen and it's a team game but are some people just broken with certain heroes?
I still don't get all the intricacies of picking and banning but it seems like the LR thread is either joyous or frustrated severely based on choices being made.
Loda actually plays really well on like 5+ different carries You can't ban for Loda because he has too many choices. You also need to ban some of Bulldog's heroes, or some of S4's strongest mids. You have to ban a ton of shit to disable Alliance, they always win all drafts because of this. Team should focus on improving their execution to reach alliance's level before thinking about keeping them from doing what they do well. Yeah, I feel you shouldn't focus so much on trying to outdraft Alliance (seems almost impossible), merely to evenly draft with them -- and then you just need to execute your style and gameplan better than they execute it. DK didn't try to surprise Alliance with anything; they drafted what people expected them to draft and just played better that one game. Best part was DK beat Alliance with a simple 4 protect 1 AM strat that is completely outdated in today's metagame. All they did was outexecute Alliance, which makes their victory against Alliance even more impressive. And then they when full idiot next game and first picked specter.
