The tower takes damage You usually don't creep pull solo unless the lane is really far out and impossible for you to farm. In duo/trilane it lets the support get levels/gold without taking it away from the carry. Also, lane creeps that die to neutrals do not give XP to enemies, so if you pull a stacked camp or double pull, you can deny an entire wave of XP to the enemy. It also lets you manipulate where the creeps meet in lane, since a creep wave not being there pulls the lane back. Obviously you watch your opposing heroes to see what's going to happen. Don't pull if ditching your lane partner will get them denied/killed, or will make you lose the tower.

Ebay doesn't seem to have any, only a steam account with dota 2 on it, which I don't want. I saw some on creglist but other than that their preaty rare, if their not on ebay ur chances are very slim. Gonna have to wait it out.

There is another reason to pull, killing opponent tower. Say you have chen/chantress or furion in your jungle. You pull without stacking and quickly kill of the jungle creeps. This way you will have a dual wave hit the opponent tower, if you time it with a siege creep it does a lot of damage. Add on summons and a few creep clearing nukes and you can kill an entire tower using one pull without the opponent dual lane being able to stop it.

I do it as lycan occasionally - only when I'm forced to lane, then I self-stack and pull the lane with my wolves to make it safer for me, which gets a bit extra gold and helps me out.

Great skills, good armor, good stats (HP). Slow and silence on a hero that can tank a lot and moves faster than anybody else on the map during night time. NS has the highest base armor of all heroes (as far as I can recall). NS is basically the best ganker in the game during night time. The AM that game got 787 GPM. Was sad.

With Aghanim's of course. 1800 flying vision is no joke. Scepter + Gem equals massive headache to deal with.

Is there any item guides out there for a new player? I have very little other Moba experience, (played a little LoL) But there didn't seem to be as much emphasis on actively using items in LoL, I know there were a few but It seems like in Dota nearly every item has an active. Thanks for any insight.

Im not experienced with Dota but from what i gather, most of playdota is still relevant to dota2, including things like guides. if im wrong then for the love of god someone please correct me. www.dota2wiki.com also has lists of information about dota2 including items but I think they lack a guides section. Good Luck!
