They just been such a pain in pubs especially at my (low) level First Rosh is actually not that big of a deal. Make sure you time the first Rosh though as second and especially 3rd Rosh are critical. Before second Rosh, you should ward the area with BOTH sentry and observer wards. The sentry wards still let you see them through smoke, and obviously also allows you to counterward. The only reason people get away with smoke-Roshes is that enemy supports are too lazy to use both sentries and observers, despite the fact that if there's ONE spot that you should sentry at that point in the game, it should be around the Rosh pit. Also, Ghost Scepter is a necessity lategame against both heroes, particularly for supports. It's much more practical than Halberd, both because it's cheaper, and because both heroes will buy BKB.
I just want to concur with Yango. This is absolutely the best advice given so far. Just to clarify though, Roshan will always respawn 10 minutes after he's killed. That's the timing Yango is talking about!

Stupid question probably but i wanted to make sure. Critical strike items, like Crystalys, affect only physical damage and not magic, right?

Second rosh, ursa probably has blink, so common sentinel ward spots are easily bypassed.

How does the hero filter work? If I put in Spirit Breaker, Spiritbreaker, or Barathrum I still get zero results containing the hero I'm looking for. All the games just have a random assortment of heroes not including the one I'm filtering for ^_^

Im no support player and we had a rather interesting discussion earlier this evening: If you happen to be in a trilane with 2 rather level dependant hero against a solo laner and you zoned him out for some time what to do if there is no chance that you can pull of a succesfull gank?
Blame it on the draft? Blame carry for ordering them not to leech exp or pulling?

Blame it on the draft? Blame carry for ordering them not to leech exp or pulling? If by no successful gank chance you just mean you can't kill your 3v1 then you just dual roam assuming that your carry can handle the 1v1 lane. Smoke is handy here. If by no chance of successful gank in any lane then your team should be way ahead anyways (ie opponents all tower hugging, unable to get xp or ck).
If you are in a situation where you need to pull but can't... you should have started with sentries. Pretty standard for a support to do that if you're trilaning.
It also depends on the heroes, most supports do have some way of recovering outside of those two options, though most take at least level 2 (and most trilane support heroes are going to be way more effective at level 2 anyways, Veno might be the only exception here). CM for instance can jungle almost any camp with a point in frostbite. Lich can pull the easy camp on both sides, etc. Sometimes the draft might be the problem but that's generally just when you pick an unworkable trilane.

A carry should be able to control the lane properly if the supports pull creeps properly (it actually should be EASIER to control the lane if the supports are properly denying full waves and not leaving any creeps alive)--and proper camp pulling is a huge windfall of gold and XP for the supports.
If your trilane is 3v1, and the enemy solo laner is not getting XP, the 2 supports should be pulling camps. Proper double/triple pulling allows for XP gains comparable to a full time jungler in many cases, and if you're not pulling, you're putting yourself behind.

The manliest hero in DotA2 is Axe. Because beard.

Skele king is by far the manliest as he is only hero that can die offensively(ult slows)

Dumb reason, Phantom Lancer has a beard too. As does Sniper. And Disruptor. And Storm. And Beastmaster. And Spirit Breaker. And... You're also discriminating against Skeleton King just because he's bald.
